Victim of Bill Ayers Interviewed on TV: What Obama doesn't want you to know by Susan UnPC

Victim of Ayers and Dohrn Appears on National Television, Describes His Entire Family's Near Murder
by Susan UnPC

The story was based on the devastating memories of Mr. Murtagh, described in his op-ed, "Barack Obama pal is an enemy, too," in yesterday's New York Daily News. In 1970, Mr. Murtagh's entire family was targeted for murder by the Weather Underground because his father was a New York State Supreme Court justice who was presiding over the trial of the so-called "`Panther 21′, members of the Black Panther Party indicted in a plot to bomb New York landmarks and department stores." (The Weather Underground and Black Panthers were allies in their dedication to the violent overthrow of the U.S. government.)

Mr. Murtagh is "an attorney, an adjunct professor of public policy at the Fordham University College of Liberal Studies and a member of the city council in Yonkers." It is important to note that a longer version of his op-ed is available at CityJournal.org under the title, "Fire in the Night: The Weathermen tried to kill my family."

Tonight, in a two-part interview, Fox News's Greta Van Susteran, an attorney and host of On The Record with Greta Van Sustern, interviewed John M. Murtagh, an educated, articulate and well-informed man. Mr. Murtagh is a Republican, and isn't involved in either Democratic presidential candidate's campaign. It is important to note that, in part two of the interview, Mr. Murtagh refers to the findings of Larry Johnson about Barack Obama's eight years of employment by William Ayers, reported in "Why is Obama Hiding the Truth About William Ayers? Follow the Money."

Obama was 8 when these crimes were committed, no?

Here is an article from Newsday about Hillary Clinton (supposedly a well informed first lady and Senate candidate) and her husband's pardon of two Weather Underground criminals:

http://weblogs.newsday.com/news/local/lo ngisland/politics/blog/2008/04/hill_on_b rinks_radical_i_didnt.html

You tell me which is the more blatant trespass.  There is so much hypocrisy in some of her supporters bringing Ayers up over and over again.

Re: Victim of Bill Ayers Interviewed on TV: (none / 0)

Clinton should answer questions about the pardons, and Obama should answer questions about his political launch party sponsored by the Weathermen.   Both issues are relevant.

You can't make this issue go away anymore than you can keep Democratic politicans from going on FOX.

Re: Victim of Bill Ayers Interviewed on TV: (2.00 / 1)

Bill Clinton's pardons were covered at the time -- 2000. Ayers and Obama's connectiosn to him have not been well examined before now.

Iirc those prisoners that Bill pardoned were not connected to the violent people, had served many years in jail, and a great many moral leaders had requested clemency for them.

Obama was 40-something when (none / 0)

Ayers said he wish he'd done more bombing. That his only regret was that he hadn't done more.

"done more" is different from saying he hasn't "done enough".

Re: Victim of Bill Ayers Interviewed on TV: (2.00 / 2)

Should we start blacklisting any politician who befriended Kissinger who has condoned cold blooded near genocide in Bangladesh and who knows what in South America?

I do not know much about Ayers and I do not care because we have plenty of people in the government  who ordered or condoned heinous crimes in the US and around the world.

Not so fast, detractors. Read Larry Johnson (2.00 / 2)

Read Larry Johnson's piece and then check out what he says with a little research.

Among other things, he says Ayers co-founded an organization that he chaired.  He hired Obama for eight years.  Ayers facilitated Obama's political introductions and kick-off of his campaign.

Michelle was hired by Bernadette Dorn's law firm, for whom Dorn's father was biggest client.

Obama lied as he defined his relationship with Ayers as 'guy who lives in my neighborhood' on ABC Debate and elsewhere.

It is all  about to break.  Hillary supporters need to read these links and be informed and prepared.  MSM has to pick this up now if we are to learn who Obama is in time!

First, Larry Johnson is a tool, a nasty little man who only feels good when he brings down others (on par with O'Reilly)

The "Michelle connection" just made me laugh, thank you.

You're running out of straws and it's really sad. I really do feel for you Clinton supporters.

Re: Not so fast, detractors. Read Larry Johnson (none / 0)

correction:Bernadine Dorn, William Ayers' wife. After 3 years 'community organizing" Obama went to Harvard Law and his first summer was hired by the same law firm as an intern.  The firm has many Ayers/Dorn connections and usually would not hire a first year student intern.  If this seems like hooey to you, just follow the story links in the articles until you find something you consider better founded.
Or don't do any research and just yell "Hooey" and look...well, you know.

a web of connections (2.00 / 2)

It's not just a matter of direct connections between Obama and Ayers. It's multiple strands of connections, a web. Obama endorsed Mayor Daley Jr (a "healing thing"), who is connected to Ayres. Ayers and MO are on overlapping boards, iirc.

All this shows the climate of opinion, the shared attitudes, that Obama has been shaped by.

Re: a web of connections (2.00 / 1)

Senator Clinton is somehow connected to Spitzer and Patterson, both adulterers. I smell a conspiracy!

Re: Victim of Bill Ayers (2.00 / 2)

This guy is all about destroying Obama's talking point that "he was only eight when Ayers bombed those buildings." Well here's someone who's about the same age as Obama who Ayers tried to murder.

Is Obama doing anything about this? Or is he just going to let it fester until it gets out of control and the 527's start running ads with Ayers in them? Is he even defending those poor people who endorsed him but are now getting shellacked by the GOP for doing it? crickets.

The problem is judgement. Who Obama picks as friends tells us about his judgement.
