It appears that you are searching for outrage where none exists. Memorial Day has always been an occasion to acknowledge our living veterans as well as the ones who have passed. If you had bothered to pay attention at all on any previous Memorial Day you would know that.

And now I'm going to go back over the past few days and read the many posts from Clinton supporters about how disgusting it is when politics descends into a game of "gotcha."

I won't call names, and I won't point fingers or call anyone out.  But putting "ignorant" in the title of this diary is perhaps a bit along the lines of making an expensive film and titling it "suckfest" or "a terrible awful thing"- you're begging for bad review quotes.

I can see how the phrasing may have been misunderstood but come on, is this the best you can do?  Washington Post had a different take:
