That stuff is a bit much, but HRC is definitely losing it. This is the much vaunted ready on day one, 35 years of experience at work? The gutter racialist appeals, and now the assassination talk, just prove that the vetting of HRC hadn't in fact occurred - and thank God it finally did before the party made the mistake of asking her to join the ticket...It's time for Obama to choose a progressive woman as a running mate and remind the world that there are actually other Democratic women doing competent, skilled work every day - and they're doing it without the embarrassment of gutter politics.

Every diary like this one, every editorial like the one referenced, every sexist remark on every cable network, every blog and in every newspaper justs deepend the wedge between Hillary supporters and Obama supporters. If you are trying to guarantee a large defection of Hillary voters to McCain, I commend your efforts. You're all doing a great job.

One thing though, when the returns come in in November and the hand-wringing begins, you'll be content to blame the whole thing on Hillary. I suggest that a look in the mirror might be more appropriate.
