Obama Supporters Congratulate Hillary Supporters Diary

I want to congratulate Hillary and her supporters on the win in West Virginia. I know her GOTV operation there was excellent and that got a lot of voters energized. That absolutely rocks.

Any Obama supporters who want to join me in this, kindly post here.

Maybe REC this up so HRC supporters can see it?

Re: HRC All the way! (none / 0)

They seem to be hell bent on taking it to the convention. The problem is, when there is a convention fight, we lose.

Doesn't matter who the nominee is at that point. We lose.

She does that, the Clinton legacy is tarnished forever. It will only re-emphasize how we lost seats under Bill.

Convention fight = McCain win no matter who he runs against.

Re: Obama Supporters Congratulate Hillary Supporte (2.00 / 2)

I certainly congratulate Sen. Clinton on her win tonight. I don't agree with the significance the is trying to be attached to the contest, but a win is a win is a win.

Congratulations.

I am not going to bother (2.00 / 2)

The last diary like this was flamed out of existence.  I will take the win for what it is, a nice way to begin the primary wrap up.  I liked all of the candidates, including Hillary, so I don't begrudge her any of the wins under her belt.

You do realize if this goes to convention, it doesn't matter who wins, we will lose.

Whenever there is a convention fight, even for the VP pick, we lose.

Go Edwards (2.00 / 3)

Can I also congratulate John Edwards and his loyal supporters? It looks like he's pulling around 7%. Not bad.

It's good for Clinton supporters. (2.00 / 3)

These blowout wins are always heartening.  I'm glad they get to have a few of these... Obama supporters have hogged about 7 or so of these 30%+ wins so far, and Clinton's only got a couple before now.

It's a good feeling, and will be good for Clinton's fundraising.  No reason not to leave the primary season on a high note.

Congrats to Hillary and her campaign on the win tonight.  She's earned the right to finish out the race and Obama will be better for it in the general election.

Re: I have one real concern... (none / 0)

I think that's better discussed in another thread. Plus I don't think they've decided what they're going to do except finish out the primary season.

Congratulations (2.00 / 1)

...to Senator Clinton for aggressively fighting for and winning the "hard-working white American" vote, 'cause you can't be President without it!  It's open-minded, knowledgeable West Virginians like the one in the video below that have successfully revivied your campaign.  Huzzah and God Bless America!

So, when he wins it in Oregon, like he has won it throughout most of the mid-west, and western states, Connecticut, and others, what will you say then?

Congratulations on a resounding victory!

Threads like these, where Obama and Clinton fans show our generosity and mutual respect, have all the wingers crapping their pants.  They're praying we fall into petty infighting and forget to focus our firepower on them for the next 6 months.

Congrats! (2.00 / 2)

A great night to be a Democrat, with huge turnout in W. Va., Childers's win, and what looks to be Kleeb's win in Nebraska's Senate Primary.

But more than anything, congratulations and kudos to Senator Clinton, and all of her supporters, who worked so hard for tonight's win.  No matter which of our candidates will be the next President (because one of them will be) we are witnessing the start of something great for the Democratic party, at every level.

Congrats again!

Hillary can sure campaign (2.00 / 1)

This shows what a tenacious campaigner Clinton is and makes a strong case for Obama to include her as his VP.  She could only help the ticket despite what others say about her divisiveness.

Congrats to Clinton supporters... (none / 0)

Good news all around for Dems.  Congrats to Clinton, Childers and Kleeb.  While I would have wished for a better outcome in WV, I am very glad that Clinton gets to have a big win in WV.  Good Job!

Congrats to Hillary and her supporters (none / 0)

from an Obama supporter. I still think it's too little, too late... But I might change my mind if Hillary can run the table or win Oregon or come kinda close in Oregon.

And I will gladly vote for whoever wins the Democratic nomination in November.
