The Anderson Cooper Propaganda Mill

In case you haven't figured out that Republicans want Obama elected, just sit back and watch CNN.

Take Anderson 360, for example.  Please.

Cooper gives us multiple shots of a former Clinton superdelegate running to Obama, with much discussion of its significance.

Not a peep that Clinton picked up FOUR superdelegates today.  Nada.

We get David Gergen warning how Clinton continuing to campaign is not just hurting Obama, it is hurting Clinton too, and how it is her fault that McCain is doing so well.

We hear the same thing hammered over and over by other meat puppets:
Most democrats want Obama to be the candidate, and want this OVER.
MOST DEMOCRATS DO NOT WANT A DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY.  THEY WANT IT OVER. THEY WANT CLINTON OUT.  THEY WANT CLINTON OUT.  IF YOU VOTE FOR CLINTON, YOU ARE UNPATRIOTIC.  IT WILL BE DISASTROUS FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
In case you didn't understand what I just said, watch Anderson 360, and every meat puppet on the show will parrot the same message until it is drummed into your robotic skull, and it will be robotic after this one hour commercial for Barack Obomb.

Cooper is a major disappointment (2.00 / 2)

I think that voters are starting to (none / 0)

realize cable news bias.  Every attempt to kill off Clinton has failed.  From equating her to Tanya Harding, to equating her with Glen Close in Fatal Attraction.

The Anderson Cooper Propaganda Mill (none / 0)

At the same time, you could talk about Limbaugh's Operation Chaos.  I don't think the Repubs. care which candidate they run against as long as it's Democrat whose just been through a long primary season, in which case they'd be in luck cause we've got two of 'em.

This administration is not sinking. This administration is soaring! If anything, they are rearranging the deck chairs on the Hindenburg!

They want Obama to be in cause he is AHEAD!!! (2.00 / 1)

Its quite simple, logisticially its easier to just pick Obama because he has more delagates. If Hillary wants to win she has to GET MORE DELAGATES. That has been the rule from the begining and all the SPIN in the world wont fool Professional Politicians who live and breathe this stuff. Overiding that lead is a whole lot harder than the alternatives.

Republicans want Hillary to win, and I have no idea why but you can take Limbaugh word for it that she is weaker. I dont think Hillary is weaker, but she is further to the right on foriegn policy. On Domestic Policy she is further to the left.

Either way they want democrats to lose, and cause Obama is the front runner they will just start trashing him early. If it was Hillary in front they would be trashing her now.

McGovern had lots of delegates tooooooo. But he lost in a landslide. Obama is losing in all the swing states.

Hmmmm... well, this is not 1972... there is no incumbent to run against....

And, polling in April to determine the outcome...?  Makes me wonder why we actually go to the expense of having an election in November at all....

than he has accomplishment to over-ride the crap.
This sucker would lose the GE if he were running against a corpse.
And McCain practically is.

Who are you... Kresken...?  I only ask because you seem so certain of the outcome which is still months away.

At the end of the day, people will care about putting food on their table, heating their homes, and KEEPING their homes.  In an economy as bad as this one, the last thing you want to be is a member of the incumbent party.... which McCain is.

About Hillary's 4 supers today (none / 0)

Just so you know...

For one thing, it WAS mentioned today, although not to any great degree.

And the reason for the relative lack of coverage? Because those 4 were "add-ons", linked directly to the New York primary. In other words, it has been a foregone conclusion that these 4 would go to Hillary.... we've known it for nearly 3 whole months. So basically the reason it wasn't really covered is, it's OLD NEWS... it just wasn't "official" until today.

Re: About Hillary's 4 supers today (2.00 / 2)

Ding Ding Ding! Geez, these Hillary folks really don't follow the delegate math very well. Obama will likewise soon be "winning" a few Illinois delegates too.

Re: What was was Clinton's people said (none / 0)

Well, for the record, this person isn't a member of the Clinton campaign.

Furthermore, this kind of bias in the news deserves notice.  It's completely true that in the debate, Hillary was given just as hard questions as Barack Obama, but she was simply able to handle them better.  After Barack's lackluster performance, there was a whole lot of whining going on in Obamaland.  In that context, the comments seem much more appropriate.

Now that most of the media is emerging from its starry-eyed open adulation phase with Barack Obama, the entire Obama campaign--candidate, staff, surrogates, supporters--has been busy crying foul.  We Clintonites are pretty used to seeing it and dealing with it, but it is worth noting when it is still open bias.  CNN is definitely stuck in its Obama fawnings.

Re: What was it Clinton's people said (none / 0)

I said "people," not "campaign."

Here's some breaking news: Hillary Fan Watches TV, Can't Handle It.

I suggest sticking to FOX and any publication or radio show associated with Richard Mellon Scaife, Rush Limbaugh, and the hard right. Those are Hillary's new friends who always give her glowing coverage these days.
