MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly

Her comments on Iraq and Pakistan were brilliantly informed.
She did an amazing job.  Clinton was able to come out like she has never
been able to in the debates.
Round two is coming up.

Watch, watch watch.

Part Two of O'Relly's interview of Hillary Clinton airs at 8 p.m. / 11 p.m. ET on Fox

Re: This is not a diary (1.00 / 2)

Stop whining & just watch the video.

You sound like a Republican when you whine like that.

This is politics. Be strong or get out of the way.

Not whining at all. Merely pointing out that your "diary" is in violation of site rules.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 2)

I don't mind when you folks use that quote because, to anyone watching it in context and seeing the effect it had on the interviewer, it was a 100% brilliant move.

Feel free to quote what was said next, if you aren't allergic to honesty.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (none / 0)

How about I quote the campaign's lying response?

Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson denied that's what she said: "She said `God blessed us.' B-L-E-S-S-E-D."

http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/trailhe ad/archive/2008/05/01/twisting-god-bless -us.aspx

No, she didn't.  If it was such a "brilliant move" why is the campaign lying about what she said?

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (1.00 / 1)

Wow, Clinton supporters really can't handle this campaign without resorting to personal attacks on anyone who supports Obama, huh?  I point out that the campaign's lying about what she said, and I'm an "obamanaut."

Obviously, the Clinton campaign regards the truth as a precious commodity that is only to be used sparingly.  :)

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 1)

I don't mind answering that one honestly - if Wolfson said that he was being D-U-M-B.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 1)

I'm sure as an Obama supporter, you probably really hate quotes being taken out of context, don't you? I mean, with Reveren Wright and then the bitter comment, Obama supporters were always talking about taking things out of context.
So it might be helpful to know the context of the quote:

O'REILLY: But I'm not a middle-class family. I'm a rich guy.

CLINTON: Well, and you know what? Rich people, God bless us. We deserve all the opportunities...

O'REILLY: All right.

CLINTON: ...to make sure our country and our blessings continue to the next generation.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (none / 0)

I guess the repeal of the estate tax will be the next position she shares with McCain.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 1)

wasn't that funny. She's not often sarcastic, but when he was whining about his taxes increasing she couldn't help herself.  She's really funny.  Thanks for reminding me.

Her earlier performance was knockout as even a couple of Obama fans had to admit. I'll doubtless catch up with part 2 tomorrow.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 2)

She was as usual great, and his questions were what debates should have asked. It's complex and it's clear that she has an informed policy that will get us out of Iraq. She knows the Iraqis don't want to be occupied, by us or by Iran, they have a long bad history with Iran, and right now the fighting is factional, Sunni against Sunni.  I'm sure Iran won't know what to do when we leave, they won't be welcome anymore, cause there won't be us to fight.  The exit plan she has is brilliant, remove everything, the no bid contracts, outlaw those private armies, bring out Iraqi's who've helped us and make us no longer a target. We won't be a target either when we provide nuclear cover to the middle east and stop the nuclear arms race.  That'll help everyone, not just Israel. Did you hear that George Bush gave verbal permission to the Israelis to keep building settlements?  What a disaster he's been for Israel, that nation needs help compromising, political cover is only the first step, and George gave them all the rope they needed to hang themselves.  I can't wait to get a competent president in office.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (1.50 / 2)

I am not a repug.  I don't watch Fox.  I did not watch Obama on Fox.  Fox is scum.  Watching Fox just gets their ratings up.  I want their ratings to go in the toilet, so then maybe they will quit being so biased for repugs.

Re: MUST SEE: Clinton on O'Reilly (2.00 / 2)

I doubt Obama could even spell it, much less know where it's at or why it's imporatant.  I also doubt that Obama or Billo for that matter know that the Waziristan area is where the attacks are being staged from despite Quetta's location relative to Kandahar.
