I voted for Anderson in the 1980 Trinity Lutheran school bus poll.

Go Hillary Rodham (2.00 / 4)

This gay boy has been a Hillbot since I first heard of her in 1990.  IMHO, the most intelligent woman alive.

What's the deal? (none / 0)

WHy do straight folks have their own category, and gay folks have to settle for being lumped in with bisexuals?

Hell's bells, even the GOP didn't have to crucify Eisenhower's record in order to make Reagan their 'saint'. We can have two great ones, you know?

Re: What's the deal? (none / 0)

One drop rule. Just like whites get their own category, and blacks, mulatoes, quadroons, and octoroons get lumped into one African American category.  I actually wanted to have separated categories for bisexuals, but ít wouldn't let me do a poll with that many options.

you sound just like the greenboy from dKos, who made a lot of inflammatory remarks, such as calling john lewis a coward for endorsing hillary. i thought you were a ron paul supporter, anyway.

huh? (none / 0)

I understand one of your points, bisexuals are just as much same-sex as opposite-sex, but to use the word "lump" as if you were put off.  what's that about?

Re: huh? (none / 0)

I suppose I used the word 'lumped' because that's what occured: a 'lumping' of similar yet different groups together for the sake of 'space'.

It's a pet peeve, simply because of the "Will and Grace " ideology that all a person has to do is 'give in' or 'let go' and they too can make the choice to be sexually interested in the opposite sex.  'Lumping' gays and lesbians in with bisexuals is sort of like making orange juice with lemons: they are both of the same family, but they're never, ever going to be the same, no matter how much you sugar coat it.
