Expert Predicts Clinton Pa. Win

An election expert today predicted a Hillary win in tomorrow's election, indicating his belief it can be close. Yes, Barack Obama predicted Monday that Democratic presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton would get the critical victory she needs in Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary.http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080421/ap_o n_el_pr/democrats

It appears with this that Obama is throwing in the towel in this primary race. No one now is able to predict how this Obama prediction will affect his campaign workers on the ground, although some observers feel it could demoralize them. One Obama supporter was heard to voice great disappointment regarding Obama's prediction: "Why couldn't he just keep it all to himself, we are out there trying to change voters to us, and he is telling them that we are going to lose." Another said: "How in the world could we convince people about change and hope, when Obama says it's hopeless," continuing, "he won't even give us a chance to change their vote."

When Obama was asked if he will now make prediction's in all the remaing races, he sharply said; "Let's talk issues, and stop all this gotcha politics." He continued: "Ok she got me in this race, I admit it," as tears filled his eyes. Someone volunteered that "maybe that would be good for a few votes."

Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign was overjoyed by the Obama prediction, and a spokesperson was overheard saying: "Now we are waiting for his prediction that we will win the big race this summer in Denver."

why are you writing fiction and passing it off as fact?? Obama never said," When Obama was asked if he will now make prediction's in all the remaing races, he sharply said; "Let's talk issues, and stop all this gotcha politics." He continued: "Ok she got me in this race, I admit it," as tears filled his eyes." Someone volunteered that "maybe that would be good for a few votes."

Unfortunately, it wont be enough: (2.00 / 1)

A month ago everyone admitted, and believed she would get, a 20%+ win in Penn to even have a chance. That plus staying close in IN, OR, NC, and blow outs in the remaining states would give her a chance of winning the popular vote, which is the one compelling argument she has to make with the SD's

Link: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=n ewsarchive&sid=a2IYkr2D8ZGk

If she doesn't get that 20% + win, she can't win. FL and MI won't make a difference. Math is math.

Re: Expert Predicts Clinton Pa. Win (none / 0)

Obama's interal polling has been spot on, he is being honest, he and everyone else knows Senator Clinton is going to win PA?

So, if you want to post about CHOWDER HEAD prognastication, look to your candidate, Pollbuster?

Senator Clinton is on record stating the primary "would be over on SuperTuesday."

She and those merry band of dunces she hired (Mark Penn? Sheesh, that alone should have been a clue) spent like drunken sailors, because it was all over but the shouting?

Obama's camp expects him to lose in Penn, they also expect him to make up all the lost delegates from that loss in NC, and to Win in Indiana, adding MORE to their insurmountable pledge delegate lead?

""Now we are waiting for his prediction that we will win the big race this summer in Denver."

Maybe they are talking about a 5K fun run, cause the only way Clinton wins in Denver is tear the party assunder, and assure President McCain is appointing the next 2 USSC justices.

Re: Smooch. (none / 0)

Ultimately we will need party unity. We can fight now, and we can argue, and we can throw insults back and forth, but once we have a nominee, we will have to put all that aside. I, for one, am not ready to surrender this nation to 4 more years of GOP rule. What is ultimately important is, ending this war, that should have never started, getting people health insurance, turning our economy around, and winning back our country. Any democrats that don't recognize this, shouldn't be calling themselves democrats

In all honesty, I think if Obama admits he is going to lose, look for the loss to be substantial. The close part will be in delegates, because it's difficult to break away in that area due to the proportional set up in Pa.

i am not an expert (nobody is; all pollsters makiing mistake after mistake in 2008) but i can predict 57-42 or better for Hillary, based on high percentage of undecided in most polls and assumption that most undecided will go in ratio 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 to Hillary. Consider this C49-O39 poll:
http://www.southernpoliticalreport.com/s torylink_421_351.aspx
It has 12% of undecided; it they split 3-to-1 for Hillary she can get about C57-O42 as a final result tomorrow evening.

Hey read what you want, but the title is not misleading. He did predict a Hillary win in Pa., and he does qualify, in my view, as a political expert. Read the link. My secomd sentence is taken directly from the Yahoo news article.

If you want to be critical of the rest, perhaps you need to relax and lighten up a bit. Eventually we will all be on the same team. In reality we're all on the same team now, in that we all want to see a democrat win in November. ok, maybe not all, but just about all.

And I don't know about you, but I always found that the practise of self censorship is a very limiting one, but, once again, read what you want--your the doctor.
