when hillary wins by 12 points

i am, as a scorned troll, going out on a gnarled limb, saying hillary basically blows obama out of the three rivers.

the expectations game by both sides are in full force, but pay no attention, nor pay attention to your polls.

some have an ear, some do not, but i am trolling here, as a troll, since i am for hillary, i refuse to buckle under to the santimonious obama prostelytizers and i remain of good humor, which is strange for a troll.

today on meet the press little timmy russert picked up on the abc line of questioning today, sort of a shot across the bow, hey, guys, brush your shoulders like jay-z or simply cause you got dandruff, its no biggie, you are not just blowing these tedious, onerous, and probably really unfair questions, they are there and will wait for obama if he be the nominee.

in other words, the outrage by obama, the white male blogosphere and blacks towards the unfair treatment by abc only insures they will continue to face these questions

and yes, the gop, right wing inspired emails questioning obama in a crude, stupid and cruel way, they will flow. i am under no illusion about hillarys baggage...but all in all, the image of obama being fixed in the minds of middle class working whites is irreparable, the innuendos and insults will keep coming and keep coming.

so, it is with this in mind i say hillay blitzed obama in penn...now, being a troll and going out on a limb carries with it a price...if i am wrong, i will go away, never to darken the doors of the place

i am a loyal clintonista...i am a person that prizes loyalty, but the clintons have never done anything specifically for me, but loyal i am...and if am a troll, if it helps, i make the big prediction...my presence based on an apparently foolish prediction

but, i am just a troll...after all, now, back under the bridge, under another name on talking points memo, i may have to make a strategic exit there, those people are pretty humorless i have to say, whereas here, some humor, occasionally some dispassionate observations of value, but, as a troll, what do i know

and my lack of capitalization, only intermittant puncuation, it is annoying, its just easier for me, language ought sometimes to flow, not posture

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (2.00 / 2)

12 is a low estimate.

Someone on another thread said Hillary by 30!

Actually, as an Obama supporter, I think she wins probably by 14?

Bitter-gate hurt him (finger gate and Jay-Z gate is only for the navel gazers at places like this...)

But, so what?

Here's the metric?

With PA as a big win, Clinton will have made her strongest point: She won all the big blue states (except Obama's home state).

So, PA proves it, and many Supers will then endorse her, right?

Give us a number, since you're going out on a limb with a PA prediction?

How many Supers come out for Hillary, following her win in PA, between then and NC?

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

I don't know if that would be a wise thing for SDs to do at that point. Granted, Democrats are probably not going to take North Carolina in the GE, but why would an SD piss off people who haven't voted yet? If you believe that the idea is to give people their vote and give them opportunities to participate in the democratic process (some just might get fired up to get involved locally, at the county or state or even national level) then what would be the real point? What if Obama did lose by 30%? Superdelegates can change their minds right up until August. Should the committed SDs start switching their stated preference? I would rather see every one of them go back to being neutral at this point.

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

Jeter, so why have over 60 supers come out for Obama since Super Tuesday?

Weren't THEY worried about pissing off the remaining states?

And, remember, Hillary Clinton HERSELF said this was going to be over by Super Tuesday, this "everyone needs their vote to count" was no big deal to her campaign then?

I think they are frozen, because of the chance of crossing the Clintons is keeping them frozen?

Bill is STILL the titular head of the party?

But, after Obama wins BOTH NC and Indiana, we see 20 or 30 more come out...

Then, it's all done but the shouting...

There will be a bevy of polls out then and you will have upto date info to make your guess.

C: 57, O: 44, looking at some of the new polling.

But your point is?

Well, I am a strong Obama supporter and if you are betting on a narrower margin, sure, I'd love to lose that one.  If you're thinking a worse loss, I think I'll just run screaming into the night.

My polling method is counting yard signs.  Hillary blows Obama out of the yard by at least 25 percent from my view inside the car window.

Reality check (none / 0)

So how many delegates will she net with that result?  And how many are left in the pool.

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

I'm going with the poll that comes out on Wednesday. Having done a two year stint at teaching statistics, especially the use of interviewing (polling) to track epidemiological trends and determine statistical trends, I have no problem making the statement that polls in politics are very often used as a manipulative tool. If you watch - as I have been - how realclearpolitics.com presents the findings of various polls, even the timing of a polls results can be used to manipulate public perception. I really wish that the next time around we will have a national primary, with three top candidates, then another in one or two months to determine the nominee.

I say between 20 and 25. (none / 0)

It's a no-brainer. She's going to blow him out of the water. In fact, if she were to only win by single digits I'd imagine it'd be a HUGE loss for her.

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

Hillary: 58
Barack: 43

The anti-Obama sentiment is too strong in Pennsylvania right now.  I live here.  I hear about it every day.  As much as the MSM likes to point out polls saying "this didn't affect him, that didn't affect him," the only undecided voters I knew (one leaning Obama), all three of them, genuinely switched from undecided to Hillary after his San Fran misadventure.

One friend called his comments "reprehensible."  Another said he "wasn't buying Obama's explanation."  And a third said she was uncertain after Hillary's Bosnia gaffe but that the Obama cling comment sent her 100% back to Hillary.

We could say it's from the debate, or Ayers, or even Wright, but none of that matters the way his true colors showing at that private fundraiser does.  I hear more remarks of loathing against Obama right now than I did against Santorum in 2006, who lost 59-41.

I am hoping for 10 points and I'll be happy.

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

Not sure of your point or question; but I, as at least one Obama supporter, would not be shocked or saddened by a 12 point margin.  Given the ginormous gap of a few weeks ago, something like that would be expected.

Okay, sure, it wouldn't be the knockout blow that would end this race; and that much would be a bit disappointing; but I doubt any BHO supporter really expected that in PA anyway.  Any talk of that was wishful thinking at best.

So 12 points? Fine by me.  I'll just keep on keeping on.

And so how many pledged delegates will she pick up??????
This is going to end up just like Texas and Ohio. She wins but not enough to make a dent in Obama's lead.

Re: when hillary wins by 12 points (none / 0)

I am an Obama supporter.  I predict Hilary by 12 as well. After it happens I would like everyone to pay attention to how the largest remaining state by far, after a blow out, does practically nothing to close the INSURMOUNTABLE delegate lead that Barack enjoys.

Also, think about how the next biggest remaining state is poised to completely undo any dent that Hilary actually does make with Pennsylvania.

She should leave on a high note after PA as she just will not be able to convince enough superdelegates  to destroy their own political careers by counteracting the voting in their own districts.  Honestly, do you people really think that she's gonna be able to convince 2 supers for every 1 that Obama gets?!  That's what she would need in order to steal this thing.  It's just not realistic.

But hey, y'all just keep wasting your money on repaying her loan for her while she does McSame's job for him.
