Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes

Reprinted with permission

This begins a series of examinations into the kind of person Barack Obama considers to be a friend. Someone that helped to launch Barack Obama's political career. And someone whose past Barack Obama doesn't think is important anymore. Watch these videos and draw your own conclusions.

Part 1

Part 2

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at."
Bill Ayers

"Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!"
Bernardine Dohrn

These two individuals helped Barack Obama launch his political career. This trash is what passes for respectable in Chicago style politics.

More to come. Stay tuned......

Have you also complained about the hit diaries on Clinton?

Actually, if you'd take some time to look at my comments you'd see the answer to that is yes.

"Oh I see"

Do you now?

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (none / 0)

either you agree it's a hit diary or you don't. If you think it's a hit diary and you're against hit diaries, then be against them. Don't pull out "you do it too".

But since we're setting up an ad hominem bar, you can go through my comments and diaries and see that I have spoken out against hit diaries on Sens. Clinton and Obama.

Now that we have that out of the way...

Do you think this is a hit diary? if you do, and you are against hit diaries, why don't you denounce it instead of trying to trash people who are calling this hateful bile out.

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (2.00 / 1)

It's crap.

But so were diaries that claimed Clinton was anti labor because she was on the BOD at Walmart over 20 years ago.  That didn't stop Clinton opponents from  promoting that and using it as a way to frame her as anti labor and a 'corporatist'.

So tell me again why I should suddenly be the one to speak out after all this crap has been slung in our direction ?

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (2.00 / 1)

As a Hillary supporter, who totally understands your point, I could only say that all this has to end at some point. Yes, they did it, so we do it, then they do it, and we do it. And then suddenly the only thing that's important is who did what to whom, where and when? If we don't keep our eye on the real finish line, we are all going to find ourselves way off course.

Hey, while you are at it, can you link some Grateful Dead summer of love videos, and maybe Tim Leary telling us all to "tune in, turn on and drop out!"

And, how about Country Joe doing "feel like fixing to die" Rag!

I dig nostalgia, of course, Obama was like 8 years old when all this went down, but I personally loved it, in the day!

BY ANY MEANS NECCESARY!

It's NoQuarter day at MyDD! Congrats, Jerome! (2.00 / 0)

More garbage from the sewer that is NoQuarter.

Congratulations! You have joined Karl Rove and FOX News by spewing the same pathetic, sick lies. Obama served on the board of the revered Woods Fund of Chicago FOunded: 1941) with Ayers. A little background for you jackasses on what The Woods Fund  supports and who has served on its board:

The Woods Fund Board: Dastardly Communist Terrorists!

Why does Jerome tolerate this trash here? Why does he allow MyDD to serve as a sounding board for Rove and the Swiftboat crew and the bile-spewers from NoQuarter?

And how come most of these losers were booted from here while he was away, but they return in full force now that he is back?

I Smell A Troll (none / 0)

This is Hunky's second diary, both on the same subject. Hunky is getting his/her information from "No Quarter" which is run by Larry Johnson, who appears to be a Hillary attack dog.

Here are Larry Johnson's bona fides: Larry C. Johnson is CEO and co-founder of BERG Associates, LLC, an international business-consulting firm with expertise combating terrorism and investigating money laundering. Mr. Johnson works with US military commands in scripting terrorism exercises, briefs on terrorist trends, and conducts undercover investigations on counterfeiting, smuggling and money laundering. Mr. Johnson, who worked previously with the Central Intelligence Agency and U.S. State Department's Office of Counter Terrorism, is a recognized expert in the fields of terrorism, aviation security, crisis and risk management.

I believe that full disclosure is in order. My question is whether or not Larry Johnson is being paid by the Hillary campaign or perhaps by the McCain campaign. Is Johnson a political consultant for Hillary on national security matters?

There is a hidden agenda at work here.

"we can't hide from this stuff folks."

NO ONE is hiding from it, we are calling it what is it, silly?

Sure, they will try this, THEY ARE already doing Wright, Bitter_gate, Michelle's comment...

Just like against Hillary they are going to do Marc Rich, Bosnia Gate, The Travel Office, etc...etc..etc..

But, the problem is, the Clinton folks keep saying

"SHE'S FULLY VETTED, SHE IS INVUNERABLE!"

Then, why have her negatives gone up since Bosnia-Gate?

NO ONE in the Obama camp thinks this is not coming...

It's the Hillary team that keeps telling everyone she is teflon, while her negatives keep going up, and her trustworthy numbers keep going down....

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (none / 0)

For all of Obama's chatter about leaving the sixties behind, it isn't clinton who is bringing 60's black liberation rhetoric and leftwing radicalism to the national attention - it's Obama. So bizarre. Obama, himself, seems more stuck in the 60s than anyone I know.

The Obama campaign and his supporters seem to take a very light handed approach to what kind of preparation is necessary to run for the presidency. It's so weird. They seem to think that since the GOP is going to run hard against whoever the candidate is, it doesn't matter if the candidate cleans up his act or not. It's really weird.

Obama should have distanced himself from Ayres, Wright and Rezko (Rezko's the big problem). Just a minimum of personal housekeeping at the very least.

Here's hoping he isn't the nominee.

by Little Otter on Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 07:19:48 PM EST

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (none / 0)

Rezko is not resonating with people outside of Clinton supporters...

Beyond that, I'm with the poster that said, they all have this baggage... BFD.

Wait, I thought he was bringing up 2005 black radicalism-That Jay-Z Song?

What a joke, yeah, I hear Obama quoting Stokley Carmicheal and Malcom X all the time on the stump?

HE'S BRINGING IT UP?

No, SEAN HANNITY IS BRINGING IT UP?

But, funny thing is, if you want to talk about when the Left Wing was not Chickenshits quaking in their boots, perhaps we should remember for a second the 60s?

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING? END THIS IMMORAL WAR!  I guess you're just a little young to remember how strong the liberal movement was in the 60s?

Sorry, Little Otter, you go trashing that generation, WE STOPPED AN IMMORAL WAR, not blindly following someone who voted for one?

I'll take the progressives of the sixties any day, over half the gutless appeasers who call themselves progressives today.

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (none / 0)

You're right, because the only way to defeat the Republicans in November is to become them in April.  We, as good Democrats, should be playing Youtube videos juxtaposing Obama, Wright, and 9/11.  We should create controversies about face itching and Obama's neighbors.  It's for the good of the party!

Re: Bring the War Home: The Ayers Tapes (2.00 / 1)

I am a Hillary supporter and i think this Ayres thing is a non-issue, and is an embarrasment to have in the Clinton campaign in any way. And to take things from the 60's and early 70's and try to place it in today's reality is completely bogus.

For all the nasty things you have said about me, not a single one of you has been able to refute the facts of this diary. Everything in the videos is a fact. And the quotes are factual too. And Obama did get his political start from these people. Fact also.

What you are faced with is something that you fear and consider ugly. Because it is the truth, you denigrate it and/or the messenger.

Just because you type something and post it on the internet doesn't make it true.

If you want anyone to believe your ridiculous claims, you should at least TRY to provide citations.

Maybe if you were just a little less pompous and condescending you would actually research a little before opening your mouth... or typing your inane words. My words are truth. A casual examination of the facts would confirm that. But I also realize that you have no desire to be bothered by something as important as facts. So just keep sipping that koolaid.
