The Chicago Three: Obama, Ayers & Rezko

Bill Ayers, Obama's friend and benefactor, was introduced to the public during Wednesday's Democratic debate, much to the chagrin of the Obama campaign and his supporters.

Let's get one thing out of the way: Ayers was not a radical; he is a domestic terrorist (Ayers once suggested that young people should "Bring the war home. Kill your parents."). There's a big distinction between having radical ideas and violent plans. Gloria Steinem, Tom Hayden, and Todd Gitlin were radicals. The desire to kill innocent Americans makes Ayers a terrorist.

NoQuarter makes a comeback at MyDD. (1.60 / 5)

And it coincides with Jerome's return from his trip.

Welcome back, vile bile-spewers!

As I note in another NoQuarter hit piece just few (2.00 / 2)

... diaries down from this one (the one that suggests that Obama was invoking a Jay-Z song with his "middle-finger-to-Hillary" that never happened and has been debunked), Jerome returns and so does the flow of raw sewage from NoQuarter.

Like robins in the Spring.

A certain segment of the establishment is growing more concerned methinks.

NoQuarter is always a good source for the preview of coming attractions.

Jerome should be proud that his blog becomes a launching pad for the latest Clinton/NoQuarter bile spewing.

I love how (2.00 / 1)

NQ now gives frontpage space to people so egregious they were banned everywhere else, including here.

What are they going to do when Hillary concedes? Liveblog the Nader campaign until November? Join a commune? Enlist with the Foreign Legion?

Who do both sides (none / 0)

imply the other would support Nader.

Obama and Clinton are centrists.

No Quarter is vile, but they are not Nader.

You know better.

Re: Who do both sides (none / 0)

Better Nader than NQ.  At least Ralph's irrelevance is relatively benign.

Larry Johnson has stated that he will not vote for (1.00 / 2)

They are not Democrats. They are lying hacks.

Considering (none / 0)

how I really feel about the issue, some gentle snark about Nader is not a big deal :-)

After Obama is President I wonder what they'll all do.

The Obama supporters like you as the number one Ace only can attack the diarists, the site owners you disagree with and Clinton.  Do not see any substantive rebuttals for any diary. So transparent in your propanganda.

It has been debunked. (none / 0)

From Ben Smith at Politico:

Bogus story of the day: It was two fingers.

And he links to this series of pictures.

It's a lie started by the lowlifes at NoQuarter and FOX News.

If you like those folks, you'll absolutely love Karl Rove and the Swiftboaters!

BTW, he was invoking a Jay-Z song but he wasn't giving her the middle finger.

Weren't you the one who posted the "Obama is the George Wallace of the Left" diary?  I thought they banned you for that.

Yes. But free speech is still alive and I'm still calling out Obama for those tactics. You can read it here

Re: The Chicago Three (none / 0)

Excellent research and analysis, JFK464, although way too sophisticated for the adolescents who hang out at MYDD. At some point, the populace will know that Obama is not just part of the Chicago sleaze machine, but that he is actually worse than that. Obama has lied and faked his way to running for president by developing and exploiting anti-American alliances. When he first came on the scene, most of thought he was just too immature and unseasoned to run for president. Now we are finding out more and more that he's actually corrupt. His movement of childish worshippers will be mighty disappointed.

Re: The Chicago Three (none / 0)

I'm appalled that the democratic party would want to nominate someone with these associations. I feel like I'm being driven out of the party. Today's endorsement by David Price, who I've voted for many times, sickens me.

North Carolinians will pick who they think is best regardless of party. That's why we have Republicans senators and the state legislature and government are controlled by democrats. We split our ballots.

I will split my ballot this fall. David Price has convinced me of that. I will be looking for an alternative to him. He's an old guy anyway.

I'm glad Hillary is fighting for the Democratic Party. We need a viable alternative to McCain, and Obama is just not that guy. Imitating a gangsta-rapper as Obama did in Raleigh  may impress AA's and college students here, but the blue-collar and rural guys and gals won't be impressed.

As far as the GE, Obama's shown himself afraid to compete in Michigan and Florida. Democratic voters in those states are not happy with him. Can he win in the GE without Michigan and/or Florida? Very unlikely.
So far, he's won no big states except Illinois.
What are the chances that Utah, Alaska, Wyoming, Alabama, South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, and Kansas are going to go for him over McCain? Nil. Even blue Massachusetts, that went strongly for Clinton after the endorsements of Kerry and Kennedy, is not in the bag for him over McCain given the performance of his friend Deval Patrick.

The Clinton candidacy keeps the party out of the sewer, both verbally (I mean you Obama blogger boyz) and electorally, as an Obama nomination would be a bonanza in terms of talking points and votes for Republicans from people who won't vote for Mista Gangsta rapper misogynist no matter what his party.
