Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Questions

Appearing on FOX 29 Good Morning Philadelphia, this morning, Hillary was asked about Senator Obama's complaints all day yesterday about the debate Wednesday night.

"Being asked questions in a debate is nothing like pressures you face in the Whitehouse."

video

Hillary, "I think we need a president that can take what ever comes your way."

..."The Special Interests are going to be alot tougher than 90 minutes of questions from 2 journalists."

With that exchange, Hillary shows us why she will be the best choice for president.

What complaints?  I heard his remarks about the debate and heard none?

I didn't hear any complaining from Obama either.

I heard him say that these questions are fair game and are to be expected. I also heard him say that he can handle the gotcha questions, lame and  predictable and distracting as they may be.

Compare his comments to Clinton's complaining about the media before Ohio. Now THAT was complaining.

Maybe you didn't hear and see what the journalist or others were hearing.

Here's a clip that might help you.

Yes Yes Yes he can (1.00 / 1)

What a pathetic diary. This does not even meet the stated guidelines for length of diaries.
And quoting something said on Fox only confirms
where you're true allegiance lies.

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (none / 0)

Obama said he thought the debate would have better served the public if it would have focused more on issues that affect the average person in this country, instead of the majority of questioning focusing on tabloid issues....He didn't complain, just explained that this debate was a prime example of the same old politics that distracts people from focusing on the real problems that USA faces right now and decades in the past.

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (none / 0)

It's clear that Obama is weak because he wants to focus on real issues. That makes him weak. If you're strong,  you want to talk about issues like who serves on which board with who and who got endorsed by Farrakahn. That makes you really strong. Muscular, almost.

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (2.00 / 2)

Obama rarely likes to focus on the real issues and talk more about feelings.

as he himslef said recently,

But -- so the questions you're most likely to get about me, 'Well, what is this guy going to do for me? What's the concrete thing?' What they wanna hear is -- so, we'll give you talking points about what we're proposing -- close tax loopholes, roll back, you know, the tax cuts for the top 1 percent. Obama's gonna give tax breaks to middle-class folks and we're gonna provide health care for every American. So we'll go down a series of talking points.-Obama, San Francisco

And when was the last time a diary was focused on more pro-Hillary issues, rather than bashing Obama...Seems like the work of desperate people....

Tough questions (none / 0)

I'm thinking that there's a difference between complaining that questions aren't substantive (which they clearly weren't) and not being tough...

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (none / 0)

She's right. We need a candidate that can successfully address issues like wearing a flag lapel pin, whose pastor hates what, what sniper fire one was brought under and when, etc, instead of stupid issues like the War in Iraq, the economy, healthcare, et cetera. So indeed, Hillary's the girl to get that job done!

Serious question- Is This Snark?

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (2.00 / 0)

Hillary shines on the issues.  Hillary is policy.  If you watched the video, she discusses those important issues that we have to address.  But, debates, as she's been exposed to for many now, have always been more than just policy, whether the candidate likes the question or not, this is what is expected to be able to handle for the toughest job in the world.  And losing ones temper, complaining of "gotcha's" in one sentence and then turning around and tossing a stinker the next, not answering or being truthful are qualities people need to see which discloses ones character.

As Obama apparently knows, being he has been accusing Hillary of being untruthful for months now, as was also pointed out in the debate, which he, in case you didn't notice, never answered on the question posed by George.

And in case you didn't notice Hillary is seen by more people to be un-trust worthy. So we can conclude that her "character" leaves much to be desired.

No, OBAMA IS....as a hypcrite and his entire campaign being of lies.  You may want to try to claim or paint Hillary that way, but the truth is seeing Obama that way, the way he is.

Re: Special Interests Tougher than 90 Minutes of Q (none / 0)

Obama's not complaining about tough questions, he's speaking for the majority of Americans who don't care about flag pins or sniper fire, who don't believe in guilt by association, who don't think Sean Hannity is a crusader for truth, and who don't want to wait through 60 minutes of gotchas before getting to the core issues.
