flailing obamites attack hillary on guns

in their clear exasperation over the haughty words about bitter little people, the obamites cling to hillary having shot a gun.

yea haw, this here must be the ticket from this here connundrum we obamites are in, attack hillary.

it has worked before, why not now?

simple boys..hillary has been an elected official, first lady of the nation and arkansas...and her need and ability to shoot guns probably at a minimum.

i, a 60 year old southern guy, i also was exposed to guns on the farm, i have shot a rifle lo these many years ago though i have not shot one in a while.

yes, many of us grew up around guns, know about guns, respect them and the good, law abiding citizens that buy them, we do not need to shoot one today not to be an asinine elitist looking down our noses at the bitter little people with guns.

that is a major difference, nobody in their right mind cares when hillary shot a gun, i do care she has enough common sense not to insult vast swathes of the american people.

sorry obama folks, this one is on you, and all the hillary chatter is not going to change that, get over it, move on, you look like assclowns trying to peel the mud off you and slap it on her.

please, a little sanity

Hillary should have replied that if it was April 1 again she would challenge Obama to a marksman contest to see if he shoots as poorly as he bowls...

"please, a little sanity" (2.00 / 2)

Oh god yes, please, sanity, that would be amazing. Debating the word 'cling' pushed me to the edge.

Like many of his supporters who hate her and won't vote for her.

Remember he told us all that way way back?

And his "monster" campaign worker?

Well that statement and those supporters cost him the chance at the presidency in 2008 watch and see.

Agreed.  He looks like a bully on a schoolyard rallying his minions to gang up on a girl.  Watching it made me feel strange.  I kept wondering, "what sort of gut feeling would this give an undecided woman?"  Not good.

Plus, in that 9 minute speech he loses his cool and lashes out at a million things.  He says he's "burned up" that people were offended by his remarks.  Although he talks about his signature new "uplifting" style of politics, the whole speech oozes negativity.  This guy's sense of emotional equilibrium is VERY fragile.  We can't have him running the party into the ground in November.

Re: flailing obamites attack hillary on guns (2.00 / 3)

You don't see the problem with Hillary choosing to bring up her super pro-gun views in light of Obama's comments?

How about the fact that Clinton has been one of the most ANTI-gun legislators in the senate.

It's FAKE. That's why its funny, and its why Obama called her on it.

In her excitement over getting a juiceball lobbed at her, she went too far.

Snort. (2.00 / 3)

Leave Hillary alone! She's human!

Hillary has opened up a can of worms with her pretense to be the god and guns candidate. The real rightwingers won't ever buy that. And Democrats, real Democrats, tend not to vote on something so transparently contrived.

New Yorkers are still reeling that we're being called on as witnesses for her support of the 2nd Amendment. That's complete nonsense, and she's never said anything like it here, ever.

What's most amusing, of course, is that Obama was talking about how some politicians use values issues to distract voters from what really matters. And here's Hillary Clinton stepping up to deliver the example of what he was talking about.

Let's just hope her rightwing antics don't hurt too deeply in the general. She's going to play a starring role in 527 attack ads, that's clear.

No, what's even more (1.00 / 2)

amusing is her calling Barack elitist and/or out of touch when she is worth a whopping 120 million and Barack is barely worth 3 million.

irrelevant (1.33 / 3)

this has nothing to do with net worth financially.  Elitism is not about money, its about attitude.

In fact, he sited his well known involvement with the church ever since he graduated college as a reason why the shameful attempt by the Hilary campaign to misrepresent his message in the wake of his words in San Francisco just doesn't make any sense.  So it would appear that you and he are in agreement.

Why is Hillary attacking (1.00 / 2)

Democrats with Republican talking points.

Not only is she insulting Obama, she is insulting Al Gore, and John Kerry.

With friends like Hillary, who needs Republicans.

She is going too far.

and you think Obama's attacks on Clinton (2.00 / 1)

deserve a pass?  Obama has trashed every democratic administration since before Reagan.  Then he praises Reagan.  You when  your guy attacks democrats for NOTHING, you think that is ok?

Kerry was especially vulnerable to elitism charges, and failed to recognize the danger of the swift boat adds.  He was a weak candidate.

Re: flailing obamites attack hillary on guns (1.50 / 2)

You see, this is why Hilary's campaign and supporters are becoming a joke.  It's almost as silly as the suggestion of a clinton/Obama ticket in the face of the decisive ass whooping she's been taking since Iowa.

This contest is over and the rest of the country is doing its level best to keep a straight face rather than laugh at Hilary right in front of her.  But here we go with "flailing Obamites".

Tell you what..... which of you Hilary supporters wants to go with me to Vegas and place a couple of mortgage payments' worth on your candidate.  I will do likewise betting on mine to send yours packing.

The language on the other side just keeps getting more desperate and further divorced from reality.  The idea that Obama's nomination is in any doubt at all is... well... hilaryous!!

typical (2.00 / 1)

calling the contest over when it clearly is NOT.  You want her to drop out so Obama doesn't have to defend himself, and sell himself to the rest of America?  What part of "can't close the deal" do you not get?

Re: typical (none / 0)

Show me the part where I called for her to drop out.

Did you think folks wouldn't be able to read my comment and see that your full of shit?

I said she has gotten her ass whipped and it's over.  I didn't say that she should drop out.  Maybe it was Freudian.

What part of "go to Vegas and put your money where your mouth is" don't you get big mouth?

C'mon, I'll do it too.  Which one of us do you figure would walk with the cash.  I'll offer you a side bet on whether this even gets to convention.  Hil's gotta pay up front for goods and services these days you know.  Any day now that power bill coming straight out of that 109 million is gonna get old.  Maybe right after North Carolina completely negates Pennsylvania and the money goes from paltry like it was last month to dried up completely.

I haven't said she should step down.  She is doing every thing the GOP would do to him any way.  She's just tremendously inept and doesn't come across as genuine in the eyes of most people, so she is not able to really make the dirty tactics as effective as a the well practiced slime balls in the other party could have.  That's good for Barack.  Any attempts by the GOP will have been blunted by the fact that Hilary has already made it old news.  She can stay in and ruin her career for as long as she wants.  It helps my candidate and it's amusing....

hilaryous!
