This diary plagiarizes TD's diary.  As you well know, all postings to MyDD are protected by double-super-secret copyright and are therefore protected from any parody or snark.

RE: this is the crappiest diary I've read.  To some folks, facts are their friends; to others facts are something to deny and minimize.  Its clear that you are imbibing the koolaid being spoon fed you by Penn/Wolfson.  They have done the job they are always hired to do.  Promote misinformation, sew division wherever it can be sewn to pair away votes, no matter how inaccurate or incendiary, and use whatever racial, gender, religious, class or other social divisions- all to insure that their corporate clients (who are behind TWO candidates out of three, and both work with Penn & Co.) succeed in disempowering the vote, and canting things in their favor.

These are the same folks who are destabilizing countries abroad, and enacting divisions the globe over to override concerns for human rights- like child labor laws, the right to organize.  Mark Penn has engaged in microtargeting- pitting social groups against each other: to make manipulate citizens into voting against their own self-interest.

We also have a torturer President in the White house who has eroded the Constitution.  The powers he arrogated to himself will be available to the next President unless there is someone with the Constitutional chops, and lobby-free agenda, to repair and restore checks and balances.

You folks are missing the most central issues of this election in favor of a candidate who is more like the Republican opponent, in terms of her associations and choices, than her opponent.

The Bagdad Bob misinformation is consistent with Mark Penn misinformation.

There will be new POSC curriculum written after this election. You can't look at electoral maps of the past in this election. Obama is going to employ a "cold war" strategy on McCain . . . out spend until McCain is stretched thin. Obama WILL win Alaska, and he WILL make McCain waste much of his Federal money in Texas. Obama WILL win Virginia, and make McCain earn every vote in Georgia.

Wait until we pick a VP, and get a bounce. Read the front-page story on MyDD about McCain's FAUX lead.

The Democrats are not winning Florida this year...  I don't care if we nominate Jesus...  ain't gonna happen.  McCain will likely tap Gov Christ for veep or another nice Southern guy... and we have a gay marriage amendment on the ballot this year...  GOP will be out in force...
