Hillary in Wilkes-Barre with The Eye of the Tiger

This is the kind of fighter we Americans not only deserve, but need.  Hillary started her day in Philadelphia speaking to 1000 Union Leaders reminding them she is a fighter and will keep on, regardless of her opponents crying for her to hand the nomination over to him (because apparently he is beginning to realize he cannot win any other way).  Hillary said, "Could you imagine if Rocky Balboa got halfway up those art museum stairs and said, well, that's about enough?"

Rocky didn’t and neither will Hillary.

Hillary obviously cares more about America and her citizens than she does about making it easy for one or a few.  She cares about our freedoms, rights, democracy and giving voters their voice, than she does about a sense of self entitlement from these men asking her to stop running for the presidency of the United States of America.  Besides, how will she fix these many problems if she isn’t in the White House creating the policy?

( play song here)  

Pennsylvania is Hillary country.  Hard working, good folks that have great pride.  And listening to them make statements and ask questions today tells you they care about what’s important for the presidency.  But I couldn’t help zone in on some of the topics brought up the Town Hall.  Hillary was talking about college and how she will fix the many problems we have, giving people a chance to afford and attend college.  She asked people in attendance how much they were paying in interest rates on their college loans.  She received 26 percent, 29 percent, then 30 percent and then 33 percent.  33 percent interest rate for a student to pay to go to school.  This is just outrageous.  This predatory on the most vulnerable of our citizens is just unacceptable.  And then I thought, after Hillary gave an example of how Senator Obama could have stood where it mattered most, in his vote, instead of airing misleading tv ads, to stand against the giveaways to the Oil Industry, he should have opposed Dick Cheney’s Oil Giveaway Energy Bill that he voted for in 2005. Here is another example of where actions count, not just words.  When Senator Obama could have voted to cap the interest rates by lenders to a maximum 30 percent, again, like Hillary did, but he opposed it.

There are actually too many examples of saying one thing and doing another.  And these are things, the real things, that matter to Pennsylvanians and to the rest of our country.  Like when a man brought up manufacturing.  I know Senator Obama said he favored Free Trade and Capitalism and isn’t worried about Americans having to compete for jobs, early in this campaign.  But then he started campaigning against those very statements and positions in areas that weren’t Wall Street or K Street.  Again, if he truly believed in Fair Trade, protecting workers and their jobs and the environment, why didn’t he support that when he had the vote?  Again, Hillary did when she voted to not allow any weakening of our trade policies, and again, Obama did NOT.

Yes, the issues that matter to Hillary and our fellow citizens.  And Hillary will keep on fighting until she wins.  Hillary has the eye of the tiger.

Will she keep on lying too?  She is lying when she says that Obama wants to disenfranchise voters.  Also, Rocky lost his first fight and his last fight.  So, if she is Rocky she better prepare herself to lose.

Re: Hillary in Wilkes-Barre with The (2.00 / 2)

You call truth lies.  I bet you call supporting voters rights and their voice to be heard, the same as telling Hillary to stop running.

Is that why ya'll are freaking out?  You really didn't expect her to comeback and win again in March after already doing it once before in New Hampshire?  DOH!  LOL

"Pennsylvania is Hillary country."

Seemingly less so with each new poll.

Let us not forget Hillary's insane moment of jealousy, " Shame on you Barack Obama, enough with the speeches and big rallies". A clear example of Hillary being jealous of Obamas huge rallies.

Teachers in Pa. supporting Hillary (2.00 / 1)

http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsm emo.com/2008/04/teachers_union_drops_300 000_on.php

The teachers union just made a $300,000 ad buy in support of Hillary, for an ad to run through primary day.  With less money, since she is being outspent 5-1, the smart thing for her is to wait and run ads the last ten days.

Since when has Hillary been smart about money

Re: Teachers in Pa. supporting Hillary (none / 0)

I wonder how many ads 300K will but in a state the size of PA?

Re: Teachers in Pa. supporting Hillary (2.00 / 1)

What, Kobi and Lion King the new Comedy Duo?  LOL

...you two remind me of someone else.

just looking for attention posting just anything?

Hey Teachers, thank ya' much.  And Obama can't cry now like he did in Iowa about outside groups helping the campaign, because he has accepted so much from Nevada to Ohio.

And while Obama over spends his millions...DAILY, maybe we can get some more jokes out of his hypocritical MISleading ads.

...so, how does Obama get away with claiming he doesn't take money from Oil Companies, even though he's received hundreds of thousands from their employees, individualy?   It's against the law for ANYONE to take it from the Company.  roflmao.  If it wasn't Obama's hand would be so far up their money bag, he'd be scrubbing his site from any old policy positions and would probably start advocating shale use.  roflmao

...currently received $226,000.00 from Exelon (Illinois Nuke Company) a lone.  Woof.  Obama knows how to party.

Some folks just don't know how to stay on topic.

May I recommend writing another diary that few will bother to read?

Re: Teachers in Pa. supporting Hillary (none / 0)

Now, that's really excellent news! She's got impressively broad support in PA and it's wise to demonstrate it this way. And for all of us who've donated the last days it's very good to know that others are shipping in too.

Mme President: on to Denver!
