(UPDATED 3/16) March Delegate Tally: OBAMA +31

This has been confusing for many, so I thought to lay out what is known to date.  I will count net gain of delegates and superdelegates for the month of March through today:

Current March tally [UPDATE 3/16] :
CLINTON +20 delegates
CLINTON +4 superdelegates
OBAMA +37 delegates
OBAMA +18 superdelegates

MARCH NET GAIN AS OF TODAY:
OBAMA +31

As CLINTON's best chances of overcoming the delegate gap resides in collecting superdelegates, we need to track these.

Re: March Delegate Tally (none / 0)

While not technically a March number, California certified their results on Tuesday and the delegate totals changed from Clinton 207 - Obama 163 (MSNBC) or 204 - 161 (CNN) to Clinton 203 - Obama 167. Thats a net swing of +7 or +8 for Obama

You will also notice in yet another example of the anti-Hillary bias in the MSM, that neither MSNBC  or CNN have changed their totals to reflect this new delegate count.

Re: March Delegate Tally (none / 0)

Yeah, the MSM is just clueless.  They trade in spin, and turn to their "analysts" to do all the "hard figurin'".
Look at the ragin Cajun try and get his candidate's spin through the math, and you can see his head about to explode.  He's conflicted with being too smart and having to carry Clinton's water through April.

Re: March Delegate Tally (none / 0)

That old line, "Don't confuse me with the facts," would seem to apply to Hillary's Kool Aid club.

Looks like you'll be able to add one more Super to the Obama total within the hour. Bill Foster has a 4,000 vote lead with 65% counted.

Re: March Delegate Tally (none / 0)

The sound of fingers crossing across the country.  A win in that district will be big. BIG.

Who said we can't win the red states!?!
This was a republican district and if the voting trends continue it bears well for our future.

Re: (none / 0)

Seeing as Bill Foster has been elected to IL-14, Obama gains a new superdelegate, considering that he's helped Foster a lot (including recording an ad for him), while Clinton hasn't done much.

So that's another +1 for Obama.

Or to take the viewpoint of the Clinton supporters (including one inane diary that stayed on the rec list for a few days a while ago), Obama has successfully 'bought' Foster's superdelegate vote.

Re: (UPDATED 3/12) March Delegate Tally: OBAMA +20 (none / 0)

Actually, the AP is reporting that HRC wiped out his win in MS.  She piked up 5 delegates today - 4 from NY and 1 from CO.
