Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call

Now this is interesting! I expect that opposition camps have called into these kinds of calls before, but I doubt they have made asses of themselves while "trolling" on the call.

Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call

ABC News' Teddy Davis and Talal Al-Khatib Report: In one of the most bizarre moments of the 2008 campaign, Obama campaign lawyer Bob Bauer called into a Hillary Clinton conference call with reporters, asking a series of antagonistic questions.

Yes, that's strange.

Re: Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call (2.00 / 1)

That's just odd.  I don't have anything against Obama.  I find him likeable and in another election, would support him.  But this is just odd ... odd.  Trolling another candidate's conference call?  If it wasn't the fact that they were in the lead, it would almost seem desperate.

Rating was in error (none / 0)

Troll rated you, because of your "down and dirty as Clinton's folks" comment - but I guess you diary fairly, so changed it to a "2."

I also heard that the Obama camp sent a representative to sit in on the Rezko Trail and take notes. That is even stranger, dont' you think?

Not at all... (2.00 / 3)

and I am a Hillary supporter. His campaign does not want to be blindsided by the mention of his name at the trial. Or a misquote from the trial. I'd be disappointed if he wasn't on top of it.

Re: Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call (2.00 / 1)

Hillary also had a campaign staff member at the Rezko trial. It'd be dumb for either not to do that. But, the Bob Bauer should be fired.

And, as an Edwards supporter and now Obama supporter, I'd be very disturbed if Obama supported this action.

Will you still vote for Obama after this?

IF (2.00 / 1)

he is the nominee?

yes.

This is TO important to leave to mcain and crew (will guilliani be his VP)!

The absolute MOST important thing the next president will do is most likely picking 3 or 4 Supreme Court Justices!

I am usually NOT a one issue person but this ONE issue IS a biggie that can and will affect ALL of our lives for YEARS to come!

Re: IF (2.00 / 1)

When it comes to Obama, I want to support him, but I just really don't know. He seems eager to compromise values, despite his Democratic voting record, so what makes you think that he will deliver in terms of the Supreme Court?

By the way even if I don't end up supporting Obama, that doesn't mean I will vote for McCain either.

Re: IF (none / 0)

There is NO WAY he would support a neo-con Justice. His supporters and the netroots would crush him!

I wish I could say I'm shocked (2.00 / 1)

but it just further cements my opinion that Obama is dangerous not just for the Dems, but also for the country. What a B.S. artist! Talk about winning at any cost!

Re: Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call (none / 0)

hey guys... the evidence for these claims are??????

oh yeah, there is none, no evidence.

OBAMA HAS TAKEN OVER THE CUACUSES!!!!!!!!

yeah, i highly doubt that, but where's the evidence

Re: Obama Camp Infiltrates Clinton Call (2.00 / 3)

I'll be very interested to see the police report from the caucus where law enforcement had to be called to let Clinton supporters inside after Obama supporters locked them out.

As to this conference call flap, while I doubt much will come of it, I recall that many people blame Harold Ford Jr.'s loss in Tennessee on an ill-advised stunt where he "crashed" one of his opponent's press conferences.  Obama's college-age supporters may love this sort of disrespectful stunt, but most voters don't.
