Help Clinton Beat Obama in Pennsylvania!

Since STEPHEN COLBERT'S Doritos Spicy/Sweet PENNSYLVANIA PRIMARY COVERAGE LIVE FROM CHILADELPHIA (The City of Brotherly Crunch) was announced on the last week I have been providing periodic Leaderboards for the ""Democralypse Now PA Straw Poll" on DailyKos.com.  It was pointed out to me that neither the Colbert Report, nor Daily Kos were in the Clinton Wheelhouse as it were

So in order to alert Sen. Clinton's Supporters of this competition I opened an account here, which I understand to be a venue for her fans.  Here you go folks, consider syourselves alerted.  Sen Clinton is far behind

As of 12:30 this afternoon the tally was

Clinton
$11,699 raised
94 donors
$124.46 avg donation

Obama
$58,207 raised
896 donors
$64.97 avg donation

Obama leads Clinton
$46,608Dollars Raised
802 Donors

In the interest of full disclosure I am not a supporter of Sen. Clinton.  I am a fan of helping kids.  I have no connection whatsoever to The Colbert Report, DonorsChoose.org, Senator Obama or any political organization at all.

I don't think that she needs any help.  She's going to win big in Pa.

I helped and will help more:

  1. send money directly to www.hillaryclinton.com
  2. converted 22 PA voters before today to democrats and they all pledged to vote for Hillary
  3. calling to PA as much as i can.
  4. posting on MYDD

There is no point to divert money from www.hillaryclinton.com to you.

ENGELS To PA Students "Drop Dead!" (none / 0)

First off, to dispute your claim that "There is no point to divert money...to (me)."
  A) I do not live in Pennsylvania, but I'm a Democrat so I care about the people in other states.
  B) I have no children but I'm a Democrat so I care about other people's kids.

I find it sad and depressing that you'd take this venue to shill for your candidate rather than, if not show support for a worhty cause cause, at least keep your trap shut.  (I'll let any personal affront I took at your unwarranted attack be balanced out by my wise-acre Subject Line)

I've posted similar diaries on Kos for almost a week and not one time has anyone suggested that it would be a waste of time or money to help underfunded programs that directly effect kids or that it was anything other than a wonderful idea.

Shame on you Engels.  You epitomize the acrimony in this Primary race and why your candidate is ultimately doomed.

are you telling me what to do with my money? (none / 0)

you are putting words in my mouth: shame on you than.
i am on mydd to support Hillary and i did not say anything about wasting money or your ideas. you misbehaved in your comment and if you have a wonderful idea than find a wonderful way and wonderful site for that. don't attack people because they have no money for you or your ideas, this is very bad attitude to have.

You made my point - just less elegantly (none / 0)

Your mistake riddled post makes the same point I made in my response.

Your original post pointed out things you did to help Sen. Clinton THEN you said you had better things to do THAN divert your funds.  Perhaps if you read your original attach THEN read my replay you will see your claims I attacked you are less THAN accurate.

I will now cop to pointing out you obviously do not know the difference between "THEN" and "THAN".
