Update: Kos and MyDD Tourney Pool - Join In

Hey everyone, Hopefully March Madness transcends the "strike." We have set up a Yahoo Bracket called "Daily Kos Tourney Bracket" Group ID# 69123 I feel like I may be the only Kos'er MyDD'er left, but you all should join in now and fill out your brackets over the coming days. Please use your MyDD or Kos names so we know who is winning.

To Join in you will need to set up a Yahoo sports account. It takes all of 20 seconds to do, and the link to do so is on the Bracket page by 'Log in.' Yahoo is also offering some form of money prize, if you choose to get junk mail in your inbox.

We have no means by which to gamble for anything other than recs... so, how about when all is said and done we have a thread where 1st place gets three tip-jars, second, two tip-jars, and third gets a tip-jar - form everyone who joins in. Not to mention eternal fame on Kos. Unless somebody has a better idea.

I'll post up the standings as much a can. Good Luck All! And, please Rec this diary so we can grow the pool as big as possible. I guess if this diary get run-over throughout the night, and doesn't hit the rec list - I'll repost around 4 tomorrow.

Update: I'll post results here too, so MyDD'ers don't have to traffic Kos - still figuring out the MyDD prize deal, We'll link over a Mojo request I guess... But I'm open to other ideas.

most of us have no use for the prize you offer (recs on dKos), and most of us have had our ratings ability removed by Miss Laura or some other dKos administrator, so we can't recommend anything. and most of us are not inclined to give dKos any traffic, so we won't go over there. and if by chance one of us DID win, we'd get a lot of abuse from the people over there. other than that, it's a great idea.

Cornell's finally in. We never went when I was an undergraduate student. Gonna be a heck of a hard battle with Stanford though. Lopez boys are gonna be tough. But the fact that we're in is AWESOME.

Haha, this one is kind of a tradition...there is a fantasy baseball one too - I image you could get scrabble players at Kos? Glad your with us on this!
