Wow... It's about the COURTS, silly.  I agree with you on Iraq, but don't tell me that Hillary will appoint another Scalia to the bench.

There is a world of difference between the two.  I am Obama supporter, but making arguments like this helps no one.

No one buys that Clinton is right wing, but McCain is!  You are just furthering the "McCain as moderate" lie.  He supports National Right to Work, Clinton will sign the employee free choice act.

Make your arguments for Obama, but don't build up McCain to do it.  

You're right, Hillary and McCain exactly the same. There is no differences between them...on healthcare, foreign policy, the environment, civil rights, the economy, etc. Maybe they are actually the same person pulling off the modern day political version of Tootsie. What? This article is ridiculous. Hillary's policy positions are actually more progressive than Obama's (healthcare, the economy, social security) a fact that so many Obama supporters are willing to overlook.

Look at his demographics.  He can't pull older white voters.  Why do you think that is?   Sadly they will vote for McCain before they vote for an African American President.  There is a generational divide that he can't cross.  Older Americans are not ready for a black President.

Secondly, there is the brown black divide.  McCain can generate some good will in that community with his past efforts to work with Kennedy on immigration.  The racial tension between the Latinos and the African Americans will make Latinos open to McCain.  McCain knows how to talk to this demo, being from the west.

The older Americans scare me the most.

In some regards, Hillary actually more closely resembles George W. Bush. She 1) supported the War in Iraq and its spread to Iran and 2) is the product of nepotism.  The last point is one of the chief reasons I don't support her.  I loved Bill because he rose on his merits, she doesn't have that same appeal to me.  

I have no concerns about Obama's ability to stand up to McCain during the debates and I think he is much more likely to be able to calmly, respectfully and effectively explain to McCain why he is wrong on the issues.  That kind of measured approach is what will win independents for the Democratic side.  Combativeness will not do that. Plus, Obama's not cried a single time during the nomination process.

I think anyone with their eyes and ears open can tell the diff between Clinton and McCain on Iraq going forward.

By the way, the idea that Obama is this pure good hearted perfect guy who just loves everyone and is totally driven by his "convictions" is total horseshiite.  He is just an ambitious pol saying and doing anything to win, just like all the rest.  He is corporate Democrat just like Clinton and Nader has already says he sees no diff between the  two.
