Children ad: Is Clinton making McCain's argument?

Couldn't Clinton's ad be used as McCain ad against either Democrat?

This new ad from Clinton on national security and asks voters who they want answering the call in the event of international trouble.

"It's 3 a.m. and your children are safely asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?"

If this is the deciding issue isn't the answer for most American's John McCain not Clinton or Obama?

Is this how we democrats want to frame the 2008 election?

If what we have to do over the next 4 years is fight a hot war with the fear of real attacks at 3:00 am every night?

I have made it obvious my answer is "yes" this helps McCain, but what do you think?

Does this ad help McCain in the General no matter who the democratic nominee is?

John McCain's slogan is "Ready to Lead on Day One".  Sound familiar? He will take Hillary on on that issue.

Couldn't this ad be a McCain ad against Clinton or Obama if just changed the last frame to say McCain instead of Clinton?

I think we should be arguing about health care and NAFTA not making 2008 on the one issue the Republicans poll strongest on.

Obama's answer:

Do you really think that is the "best" match up with McCain?

Obama could use Republican talking points on Healthcare and Social Security, but a television ad by Clinton is outrageous. Please.

The ad will backfire on Clinton. Every attack on Obama has backfired. I think we all know why, and it is not because of the call for change. It will backfire.

I have already accepted that Clinton will not be the nominee, but Obama does not automatically has my vote. He is wholly unqualified and unprepared to lead this nation.

Big problem ahead (none / 0)

Obama still has to come up with some national security credentials.  As far as I can tell, he has none.  His 2002 antiwar speech has gotten him through the primaries, but it will mean absolutely nothing in the fall.

That's all he has? Even with his time in the senate?

Is Bill supporting Obama now?
