Pres. Clinton in Chillicothe, Ohio (w/pics)

Pres. Clinton campaigned for Hillary this morning at the Ohio University campus in Chillicothe. He was accompanied on stage by Frances Strickland, wife of Gov. Ted Strickland.

He gave a strong speech outlining Hillary's record in the Senate and stressing her stand on universal health care (as opposed to the Obama plan which leaves 15-20 million uninsured) and that she is the only candidate to vote against the awful Bush energy bill of 2005, which was a giveaway to old energy interests. He also spent some time talking about education reform, ending on the note that Hillary would never forget who put her in the office of president.

Like a whole LOT of Democrats still LOVE Bill Clinton, contrary to what a few angry bloggers say. It really looks like Hillary & Bill are working it in Ohio, and it looks to me like Hill's on track to win. :-)

Yeah, I love Bill. I wish he were running again this year. I was a bit annoyed in SC, but whatever.

Obama's charisma reminds me of Bill.

Hillary's lack of charisma reminds me of Kerry.

Bill Clinton was a GREAT President who left a GREAT legacy for this nation. And for a few "progressives" to act like they're ashamed of President Clinton, I just don't know what they're thinking. I'm just glad he's out there and he's talking about how Hillary will not only continue the Clinton legacy of putting people first, but she will make this country even GREATER than it had been before. :-)

Yes. Kos is mostly talkers. MYDD is doers. I'm siding with the doers, and with the solutions over the speeches, and with the experience to bring change.

Perhaps those people in those states did not hear about how Clinton was a doer and not a talker.

In Texas and Ohio, they will hear about that. And if they don't hear, then these races will be tainted by ignorant voters.

This theme of "people who support Obama are ignorant" is just so counter-productive. I don't favor Hillary and I deeply distrust her, but I don't question the intelligence of her supporters.

It's good to have a first hand report from the ground. We can't rely on fair report from MSM anymore.

Every Hillary supporters are working so hard. I'm so amaze the resilience that everyone is in their believe and support for Hillary.

Her opponent wants us to pack our suitcase and left since last week. But we won't have any of it.

I am very happy to see these pictures. This has inspired me to get involved. I'm off to www.hillaryclinton.com to join a phone bank. I may also visit PA headquarters (closest to me) to get started on work there on the weekends. This diary is heartwarming.
