But if you know Wisconsin, when is the last time Oshkosh, Eau Claire, et al packed 1,000s to see a candidate in a pres. primary?

Obama is blowing away Hillary in the air wars, the field wars, and offering negative TV ads, ads blasted by Gov. Doyle and the mayors of Wisconsin's two largest cities.

One commentator said to get out and work; he/she is right. And the people will; but it's over, man.

Wisconsin had the potential to lift up the campaign. It would have changed the media narative. Hillary should have competed hard in the state. It could have been enough to give her the momentum she may need going into March 4th. It seems unwise to stay out of this race

So what does this diary acccomplish. Get people to work less for Obama?

Absolute dumbness.  Brilliant Mark Penn advice. (My advice would have been to plant her ass in Wisconsin Wednesday and stay there til Tuesday night and then go to Texas and Ohio.)

Why is she leaving the state early? Because she's going to lose.  (Obama voters, run up the score, take no vote for granted.)

And what message does this tell voters?  Not a good one.

But I'm sure it doesn't matter to Mark Penn.  This isn't CA., NY, NJ, Fla, Oh. or Texas so the people in Wisconsin are insignificant.

He'll get a Wisconsin bounce and with two full weeks, Obama can spend 7 days in Ohio, 7 in Texas, advertise across both states, give people a chance to see him up close, and win both states.

Obama is coming to Youngstown tomorrow.  How much do you want to bet that he draws more than 250?

I haven't been to Ohio in years, but a friend of mine in Granville says Obamania has caught on heavy in that area.

Obama does NOT take WI in a rout.  This is going to be very close and we Obama supporters need to be working like we are underdogs!!!!

Some little part of me wants Obama to be the nominee, so these folks who see him as "untouchable" get a dose of reality.

That is exactly what the Superdelegates are there for. To counterbalance such infiltrations. Let's pay attention to the number of crossover voters. It will be huge, I predict. Obama supporters will spin it as his appeal to moderates and say it will show he can win in the fall. The media will echo that. Anyone who says we are being gamed will be shouted down, but we are being gamed. It is going to be really nasty.
