Hillary's New Hip, Fresh Rad Youth Video

A friend just forwarded me a new video that the Clinton campaign released to promote her to a youth audience on YouTube.

I would otherwise write up a pithy, perhaps clever review of the video here but I have to step out to brush my teeth due to throwing up in my mouth a little bit while watching it.

It's no big deal. It has gotten a lot more attention, for some reason, in the last day or two (indeed, I noticed that Yglesias didn't come across it until today). It kinda went unnoticed when it first popped up.

Almost seems like one of the ads they had for Rock Band beforehand. The ad is kinda... lame. Pandering to those of us in the youth vote.

"Hey look, she's holding a guitar! She 'shreds', because people still talk like that!"

My favorite thing about the video is that the comments are all "AWESOME!" and "I love it! Go Hillary!" and then the rating is 2-stars because it's a piece of Poochie garbage.

Amazing how the vocal Hillary supporters seem to clam up when something so absolutely ridiculous as this comes up.

I realized about 2/3 through it was a real ad... but it was just so... forced and cliche... geez.
