Help Obama reach an unthinkable goal by tomorrow.

Help Barack Obama reach an unprecedented 125,000 donations since the start of 2008. Over the past three weeks or so Obama supporters have worked tirelessly to bring new support to the campaign. The original goal set by the campaign was 100,000. That was crushed a few days ago. Now, with nearly 6500 new donations coming in every day, it is time to break through the goal of 125,000.

With around 24 hours to go and under 10,000 donations left I know we can accomplish this tremendous task. I myself gave my first $50 donation today, and it felt great! The campaign has set up a program where donors are matched with another donor. They can share their reasons for supporting Senator Obama as well as keep in contact through email. It's truly a wonderful experience to chat with another supporter. So please, be part of this evergrowing movement!

The count sits at: 115,401

Fire it up! Read to go!

Direct Democracy In Action (2.00 / 1)

Obama's approximate average donation per donor during all of 2007 was about $200.  If you multiply that by 115,000 new donations in 18 days (that's nearly 6,400 new donations per day or 266 new donations per hour), you get $23,000,000!  Since 1/1/08.  Even if you cut it back to an average $150/donation, you still get $17,250,000.

This kind of people power should not be denied.

That's about right. With 500,000 donations he recieved over 100 million dollars. So with a bit more an 1/3 of that it should be a bit over 20 million.

It's really INCREDIBLE to think about!

you never donated before today? (none / 0)

That is surprising.

I will vote for Obama if he is the nominee, and I will GOTV for him, but I will direct my donations toward other candidates.
