Back in July, Sen. Webb's amendment to require that our troops get as much time at home as they do in Iraq, what he calls a 1:1 deployment-to-dwell ratio, received 56 votes, 4 shy of the 60 it needs to go to an up and down vote. Time to let your senators know you expect them to support it this time around.
E-mail them through Sen. Webb's Born Fighting site or call them at 202-224-3121. The following senators could use the most coaxing, especially John Warner who's announced he's "reconsidering" his support for the amendment.
