The war in Iraq is costing billions of dollars.  We need to start a 'War On Terror' Bond (WOT Series BOND).  The money collected could go towards paying for the war injured ONLY.

I realize there are already E series bonds that were started after 9/11, but think about it.  The last time that was advertised was back in 2001-2002.  It's time to ask Americans to do their part AGAIN - but in a more robust way.

The war on health care, is also costing billions of dollars, not only is the government paying (taxpayers) billions of dollars, it's also taking away thousands of dollars from American's savings accounts.  

We need to create a Health Care Bond (HC Series BOND).  The money collected could go for paying for the medical care of Veterans or it could replenish the Medicare/Medicaid funds, allowing the government to help more Americans get the health care they need.

These two ideas would not only HELP pay for the war and someones health care, it would remind Americans they need to save for their future.

These two plans could also be considered the "AMERICAN" or "HUMAN THING TO DO", Help thy Neighbor.

Finally, some candidate (I've contacted one with this idea) needs to be brave by asking American's to serve their nation in any way that they can.  Watching the war on the evening news, as President Bush and his wife Laura claimed as being a "sacrifice", is NOT serving your nation.
