Back in February, the Romney campaign proudly announced Sen. Larry Craig's endorsement of Mitt Romney for president and even brought him on board as a campaign co-liaison with Sen. Bob Bennett of Utah.
From a press release via Politico.
"It is an honor to have the support and leadership in the United States Senate of Sen. Bennett and Sen. Craig," Romney said in the press release accompanying the announcement. "Throughout their years of service, they have compiled strong conservative records and have accomplished much for the people of their states and their nation. Both men have a unique perspective of the new generation of challenges confronting our nation. I look forward to working with them to find the solutions needed to ensure that our country remains a strong world leader."
'Look forward to working with' him until said co-liaison is arrested for and pleads guilty to lewd conduct that is. Looks like a video from Romney's YouTube channel went missing once Craig's arrest was made public. And even later today, Team Romney "accepted" Sen. Craig's resignation as co-liaison, saying:
"Senator Craig has stepped down from his role with the campaign," Rhoades said. "He did not want to be a distraction and we accept his decision."
The funny thing about the tubes, though...LiveLeak rescued "the video Mitt Romney doesn't want you to see."
