Fox Attacks: Bloggers

Another great Fox Attacks video from the folks at Brave New Films. Check it out:

And to get in on the act of attacking Fox right back, sign up HERE. What will the Fox Attackers be doing?

We're fighting back by identifying and calling all of FOX's advertisers. All of them. Particularly local advertisers who probably have no idea the kind of hatred their money is supporting. [...]

This is not a boycott. We are simply calling advertisers and informing them about FOX. And making Bill O'Reilly's life a living hell.

Awesome.

Just look at the underlying code in your browser.  It is usually identified as view source under the edit or view toolbars. Copy. Paste. Experiment. (hint: only one parameter at a time).

And the CBC still wants a FOX debate? (none / 0)

I don't know what the CBC is thinking. FOX is a GOP propaganda outfit.

BTw, how to insert youtube video in the diary. I cut and past the 'embed' code, but it does not work.

Jealous Mainstream media companies :P NANANA (none / 0)

Aww, look how upset the mainstream media is when smart people decide to get their news elsewhere. How sad.

Imagine what would happen to Bill O'Reily's pay check if the 70% of Americans who are against the war could choose not to pay for Fox News anymore in their basic cable package.
All the Democrats in Congress need to do is introduce a bill giving consumers the right to choose what cable channels they want to pay for.
We could cripple Fox News financialy right before the elections!

There is another side to the coin. (none / 0)

I've written to companies that advertise on Fox, contacted my cable company and asked that they put Fox on the list of channels I can block, etc.
Not much success with either so far.

So I started investing in anything O'Reilly hates.  When he was ranting about all things French I was gobbling up French food and wine.  When he bloviated against the ACLU, I immediately joined. If he hates a book, I buy the book.  He directed his wrath towards AirAmerica so I became a premium member.

O'Reilly hates dkos?  All the other blog sites are feeling left out -- they'll be writing to him to spread a little hate their way.

P.S.  I do it with Lieberman too.  If he comes out in support of a candidate I donate to the candidate's opponent.  Feels great!

Waste of Time (none / 0)

It's a waste of time that they are attacking these bloggers. They should be focusing on real issues threatening this world like Global Poverty. Every 3.6 seconds, another person dies form starvation [Borgen Project]. This is startling and these fools are just lollygagging while the world falls apart.

I recommending creating/tagging your blog as having been "inspired by bill" and linking to it in the comments section here: http://www.inspiredbybill.blogspot.com/.  No catch, just shoving it in Bill's face.  Blogs: if Bill's afraid, they must be good.

Re: Fox Attacks: Bloggers (none / 0)

I'm confused.  Trying to look at that video as a business person, I see nothing that supports our side.  All of the insane quotes from Kos were used in this vid, nothing was said by the Fox Propaganda Talking heads that was really extremist.

You really need to use some of the O'Riley lunacy that will make people shake their heads (i.e. O'Riley insisting that WWII's Malmedy Massacre was caused by the Allies).  Then the advertisers may listen.
