Take Back America's conference

I'll be here in the basement of the Hilton on Connecticut Ave for the duration today. I've just looked over the schedule, and it looks great. Providing the wireless doesn't grind to a halt, I'll post throughout the day. It's a packed day, first up is Mike Gravel (lets see if he does a retro on John Cage with some silence)... and Bill Richardson, who useually does quite well at these DC party-friendly gatherings.  I'm sitting in front of a politico.com strawpoll table, where the attendees of the conference can check in to vote.

Politico is mostly a useful tool to the rightwing news machine, but the poll is being conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, so I look forward to the results. I'll vote for whomever gives the best sppech today. After Richardson, I'm going to a panel of bloggers to hear them talk about the blogosphere, a couple of bloggers you might recall, Chris Bowers and Matt Stoller, are on it; then another panel and it's time for the high-noon showdown that gives us Obama and Edwards speaking at 12-1. After lunch with a bunch of partisan hacks and political junkies, I'll return for a panel in the afternoon. There's one "discussing the youth movement", but the other panels are just as good. In the evening, assuming I'm still around, the blogger Digby is going to no longer be anonymous, or maybe not, as I doubt the name is Dover Bitch, but who knows! I gotta go register somewhere...

The blogger digs are swank!
