No need for progressives to war on the Democrats--a response to eugene - A RESPONSE

The below response of mine is a response which i have cross posted here in response to anothers blog yesterday at the dailykos

MY HEADER RESPONSE
""Though Is a DEM realy a Republican is disguise""

These days its not about the party. Its the candidate. They would like to keep us fighting amongst ourselves while they have candidates in both parties running roughshod over us.

What we need is change. Only constant change that forces the powers to be to catch up to us, will give us, the people, the power back in our hands

.

I am sure they are planning for a backup alternative independent (to act at least as a spoiler again like peroe was in the 90's) to make us think that we got our way by giving us something we think we can't have.

I am sure we all know if we got behind clinton we could get her in. Thats a given. What they are trying to do is divide us right now, and then we all settle for Clinton when it comes down to the final results / election.

However, thats what they want. they want to apease the masses to think we got someone that is half heartedly for us.

All we can do is go with change and someone with the history of basically backing basic human rights.

Well to me that person is obviously Barack Obama.

Yes i would love a kucinich or even a ron paul. However, they are too extreme for those who are out there in dumb TV land.

So what do we do? I mean we who have been active. We who are not dumbed down. Maybe we should have our own poll and then run with that. I would accept that. I would be open to someone, (we who are working online and in real life as independents trying to find a way out of the 2 party system)who we would all agree upon. And i am sure we could make an impression large enough to switch those watching DUMB TV to join us if we were united.

I am not of the closed minded mold. However, why are we supporting the same old candidates that the powers to be hold up for us. (clinton edwards bilderberg candidates)

ones who will never win
one who will win but only make us feel like we got the best of the worst two.
ones who could win but we are so divided that we end up with who the powers to be want.
I am open for change I am open to go along with those who do care and are active and not just poping in here to play online or are too young to know.

Yes they are here , the youth who feel they know what change is. I am sure others come here to cause us division and they are probably even paid to do so.

So what do we do? Yes we can go to meetings like "take back america" or "aclu day of action" etc etc etc, but even there we get the main stream candidates popping in and diverting and dividing us.

So until we can build a private coalition of real life activist, from all over the USA, we are stuck with choosing those we do, (in my case someone who is new and will give us a chance for change). Someone, like Obama who does have a record of caring and learning and growing and even then we can only hope and pray they don't eventually sell out.

Why would they sell out?

money
power
real threats of not listening to the powers to be
I say Obama in learning because he has changed his ideology on coal which to me shows an open mind. I also say he cares because he has been about helping rather than taking a big salary job after getting out of college. And i say growing because he doesn't have a lot of experience in running a state as a governor so he will surely be growing in the position of president. That is important because he won't enter the presidency with pre set ideas like a previous governor. He will come in with only his experience of caring and learning and then start growing as those of us keep him in tune with the wants of the people.

This is how i think and so i do what i can and right now, i choose Barack Obama, who i feel may be actually putting his life on the line if elected.

However, if that did happen, i would hope it would inspire us to rebel in a major way kinda like we did after kennedy was killed

by republicans to stop 24 yrs of democratic rule = 3 brothers 8 yrs each.

At least then we stopped the vietnam war. But that was our pacifier, then most went off to humboldt county or the PNW and got stoned out on pot.

I started a recycling center in redway calif in 1975 next to garberville calif so i met many who were previously active and then they went to the hills and got lazy and stoned and we ended up with ronald reagan who the bilderbergs set up Carter (iran hostages) for a fall. And poor Carter has been trying to clear his name ever since, doing all the real good work he has been doing with habitat for humanity and helping to make sure 3rd world countries got fair voting.

and yes i can back that statement up about 24 yrs of democratic rule with a man i met, who died in front of me in 1975 and gave me his deathbed story.

anothers deathbed confession to kinda back up the one i got

The deathbed confession i got.

So in closing you can see i have experienced a lifetime of seeing the truth and working to bring about change in my own way. I was laughed at in the early 80's when i went back east telling everyone they would soon be separating their bottles and cans and well you all know the rest of that story. However 90% of them do recycle while only 40% of the hippies do in southern humbold county. (yes many there do vote to keep their pot growing happening and some of it does help with local enviromental issues, but only a few there are involved with USA and World issues) I know this because i went back to southern humboldt county from 2004 to 2006,

but i then came east to vote in Pa because my vote was worth more there and i was able to help get Congressman Joe Sestak elected and get rid of neocon curt weldon. I was able to do much of this through moveon. orgs callforchange. org and by standing at the ward where 90% republican voters came and i had my sign saying " I am a vietnam vetern who knows how our soldiers feel to be in a war we should have never been in". I had many voters who shook the hands of the 5 republicans dressed in suits and ties looking like the mob, yet as they walked by me 50% of them gave me a wink or nod letting me know they voted for Joe and for Change.

And ironically many of those activist from the 60's are still in humboldt county growing pot and stoned and pretending to be hippies by wearing the clothes and not doing real actions. Oh there are a few ( AND FOR THEM I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT) and some of their kids have stepped up to the plate but even then many of them died from drug overdoes's after Reagan got crack imported into american with his drug war.

Myabe i am just too much for anyone here to believe what i am trying to say.

so if we do win and get a progressive i hope and pray we don't go out and get lazy with partying after we stop the iraq/iran war like many of the activist did in the 60's. I hope and pray that we teach our children that this is a constant fight that we need to keep constant vigil and make sure we never again are deflected from keeping watch on the POWERS TO BE !

PS: I have an 9 yr old son and a 16 yr old son on the east coast of the USA and a 9yr old daughter and a 16 yr old son in Lusaka Zambia Africa. I want a better future for them all, even though two are not of my blood. They all have my spirit.
