With the tensions escalating after the Iranian capture of 15 British sailors and marines, it is now more important than ever to build public pressure on George W. Bush to use diplomacy with Iran to prevent another conflict in the Middle East.

The StopIranWar.com Challenge will recognize our most dedicated supporters who encourage their friends, family, and colleagues to sign the petition to President Bush. Weekly Challenge Leaders

* Individuals who get the most signatures in a given week will receive a copy of General Clark's new book, when it comes out, signed with a note of his thanks, plus be recognized online for their efforts. There will be a leaderboard, as of the second week of the Challenge, so look for your name to show up when you blow everyone away with the massive numbers of signatures you've gathered!

Campaign Challenge Leader

* The person who gets the most signatures over the full length of the Challenge - will be a VIP guest at the Clark event of their choice. They will also be notified with a personal call from General Clark.

We need to get as many people signing this petition as possible. The more who sign it, the more attention it will garner in the media, and the greater the impact it can have as leverage on future decisions about a war with Iran.

I am curious about something...

What is the reason that you may have not have signed or taken action at StopIranWar.com?
Is it because Wes Clark is involved and you are a supporter of Edwards, Obama, Clinton or another?
Is it because you don't care?

If Wes Clark being involved is the reason you have not yet signed the petition or taken action, with the tools at StopIranWar.com, then please let that go. Do it for yourself, the soldiers and their families, our country and for the world. Help stop the Insanity!

The thing is people who won't sign because General Clark is involved should remember this he is just a part of this. He is in partnership with VoteVets.org and it has nothing to do with Clark either running for president or not.

I had already sent out the link to Stop Iran War to my email list a few weeks ago, but today signed up for this new program they've put together, and sent it out again. Now I'm hoping a lot of the people I originally sent it to didn't get around to signing yet, so I can win! LOL!!

It's pretty cool because you can customize your letter, add a photo, and the website will keep track of how many signatures you get from the emails you sent.

We'll keep track of every one of your friends who sign up by clicking on the special registration link in the emails you send out. We'll automatically track your progress.

I signed the petition and I'm glad I did. Last night at my Dem. committee meeting I found 10 more signers. While the book would be great, what matters to me is giving VoteVets a stronger voice, and stopping bush before he manages to drag us into another war.

Come on everyone...sign....please.
