Oh shit!  I think Gavel is going to challenge Matthews to a duel!

Ouch (none / 0)

Please try to make the volumes equivalent between speakers. It's impossible to listen when one speaker is at a whisper and the next is a shout.

How's this for a question? (none / 0)

Who had the worst moment?

I only read the liveblogging, but apparently Richardson said Democrats have to stop raising taxes to pay for new programs. If true, that's incredibly poorly done. And who'd he choose as his favorite living Supreme Court justice?

And what's the story with Dodd trying to defend his Roberts vote?

Kucinich interrupting Obama was bad for him, but good for Obama.

clear up who raised (none / 0)

there hand about the "global war on terror".

I thought only Hillary and Obama of the big three raised their hands  but Hotline reports the big three did.

anyone conclusively catch that?

that could be something new from this otherwise boring empty debate.

I thought Edwards didn't but the angle was a bad one.  I erased it already from my Tivo.

Re: Special MyDD.com Blog (none / 0)

I thought Richardson did horribly.  And I say this, yes, as someone who was looking for a reason to support him because he's Hispanic, AND as someone who actually agrees with his position on guns.

It's just not cool to use a strawman attack on "Democrats" for "always wanting to raise taxes for social programs."  That shit pisses me off.  Obama has gotten attacked for using the Democratic strawman argument in the past and Richardson needs to be slammed for doing it in a nationally televised debate.

If Richardson's people read the progressive blogs, I hope they tell him to STOP USING GOP TALKING POINTS and to STOP ATTACKING OTHER DEMS!!!

Richardson just fell from my second choice overall into out of my top five based on his pulling that shit that he did tonight.

McCain is defining Obama, and Obama is neither defining himself, nor McCain. This is awful.
