Oregon College Democrats aren't going easy on the state's Republican Senator Gordon Smith, who's up for reelection next fall.

Smith is quite vulnerable. His approval rating is south of 50 percent. As alluded to in the ad, his re-elect number, according to DSCC polling, is just 30 percent. In named head-to-head matchups against his potential Democratic challengers state House Speaker Jeff Merkley and progressive activist Steve Novick -- non-partisan polling indicates he can't crack 50 percent (though he does currently lead).

The time is now to keep the heat on, which this ad does. And in the spirit of the "More and Better Udalls in the United States Senate" effort, let's get Smith (whose mother was a Udall) out and Tom Udall and Mark Udall in!
