Try winning an election ... (none / 0)

By telling Americans they are bloodthirsty war mongerers.

Puh-lease.  Lets put the pipe down and join the reality based political community.  This isn't a game, this is for real.

It is not "Americans" that are the issue (I never said that, but the Government.

And, I don't think you even watched the Video.

We have to do much, much more than just win elections.  We have to finally recognize that the Military-Industrial-Complex that controls the government (regardless of who has been elected) is bad for the Country and the whole World and it has to be dismantled.

That means electing the candidates who are honestly confronting the issue (Kucinich, Gravel, Paul) and rejecting the useless, status-quo  candidates who never, ever will (Hitlery Clinton, Rudy Guilliani)

Look, I read Noam Chomsky too, for compelling reasons.  But take a lesson from the man, one is unlikely to get one's point across with a swift, cream-pie to the face.

Chomsky Is A Phony (none / 0)

I have my own theoretical work regarding human language. The local professors goaded me into e-mailing him about looking into some of it. He sent me back a ludicrously dismissive comment.

His condemnations of U.S. foreign policy are legendary. But he just keeps repeating his "organize, organize" mantra over and over. He never advocates any specific agenda. I don't listen to him anymore.

The only way to stop the war is to just stop it. Just de-fund it. Giving Bush suggestions does not seem like a productive use of anyone's time. 2/3rds of the American people agree with the U.K. that we have lost the Oil Wars. People who really want to continue down this loosing path should set up a corporation to enable themselves to DONATE to the great Oil War cause. They should also enlist to go over there and fight the wars they support. Maybe Chelsea Clinton should lead the troops there.

I will not try to contribute one red cent more to the $1.2+ TRILLION this thing is going to cost, and I will not follow Chelsea into battle. I will advocate windmills, wave harvesters, and solar panels. But feel free to contribute to the wars, and go over there and fight them. After all, it's a free country.

It's going to take a lot of effort to set things right.
