NOW can we impeach?

Ok, Markos, Bowers, and others- what's it going to take?  How far does this guy have to go before you finally stop peeing your pants and agree that President Bush must be removed from office?  Are you at least now open to the possibility?

Will a unilateral escalation of troops into Iraq change your mind?

How about starting a new war in Iran?  Somalia?  Syria?

What will it take?  How many more nightmare scenarios have to come true before you agree that we must do everything we can to stop President Bush?  How many more people must die, how much more public and Congressional opposition must this man face before you put your vaunted "Progressive Agenda" on the backburner?  When will you stop focusing on getting Dems "an edge" in the '08 elections, and start focusing on restoring our Democracy and the Rule of Law?

Will you ever change your mind on this issue?

I ask these three questions again, which still remain unanswered:

1.  When would you favor impeachment?  What kind of Executive abuse is too much, even for you?

  1.  How can you ensure accountability without punishment?
  2.  How can you deter future Presidents from abusing their power if they know that not even this guy was impeached?

Credit to others who, in the wake of President Bush's escalation, came out and admitted they were wrong to oppose impeachment.

That's very big of them.  Everyone else- how big are you?

Poll
Straight up, are you open to pursuing impeachment?
No! Never! I can come up with a thousand reasons why not, but NEVER impeach!
Yes, regardless of the success of the effort, I'm not opposed to this as a way to stop the madness
