A bunch of us progressive bloggers met with Bill Clinton today in New York. I'll have lots of pics on Thursday when I get my cord for my camera back. In the meantime, enjoy this stolen picture from Jeralyn.

Here in NY we are dealing with Hillary as our Senator. She had a lot of signs up today here in Albany even though we all know she will win big. Seems like progressive bloggers might have some issues with Hillary(it said, "standing up for New York") At least the progressive guerilla media types in my city do.

I made a similar comment about that when we were all hanging out at Starbucks befrehand. A lot of white people were hanging out together in Harlem.

We tend to be white, but this was a little more white than usual. The blogging vrowd is a lot more diverse than this picture suggests.

White faces in Harlem (none / 0)

That comment would apply 15 years ago. But today you will see a lot of whites (and affluent blacks) on 125th Steet, where Bill Clinton has his office.

The fact is that with crime down and property prices up, all 5 boros have become expensive places to live in. The demographics are changing very fast. People are migrating back from the suburbs. Take a cruise around Staten Island to see an extraordinary building boom. And check out the Jersey Gold Coast on the Hudson.

You go to a meeting with Clinton and you don't have your freaking camera cord and you don't go to Radio Shack and buy one? What the hell is wrong with you???

I can't wait to hear more about this meeting, but I have to admit that Jeralyn's use of "Democrat bloggers" set my teeth on edge. I loathe that particular ungrammatical phrase.

Please edit your html for that shot. Add width="400" or "450"

I tried it and it looks just fine at those resolutions.

The squirrels are actually recognisable.
