NH-02: Indy poll has good news

NH hopefuls probably can expect alot of PAC visits and contributions if these are close come the Fall primary, Jerome

An independent poll was conducted by the University of New Hampshire with relatively good news for Democrats as we try to knock out incumbent Republicans: (likely voters, MOE 6%)

NH-01
Jeb Bradley (R) 49%
Jim Craig (D) 33%
undecided 18%

Jeb Bradley (R) 52%
Gary Dodds (D) 29%
undecided 20%

NH-02
Charlie Bass (R) 42%
Paul Hodes (D) 35%
undecided 22%

Neither of these seats has been in the top tier, but it looks like NH-02 should be, especially since only 20% of likely voters are familiar with Paul Hodes.

This is great news for Hodes, and not-bad news for Craig. I blogged about the NH-02 side here.

Where are the other candidates for NH-01???? (none / 0)

Where's my Carol Shea-Porter?  UNH is really out of it, there are 4 candidates for Jeb Bradley's seat, who have been appearing at forums all over the district.  And they poll the one who had the auto accident and the one who has no apparent supporters and a website that wasn't working last week!
Sometimes the establishment makes me wonder!

If Jim Craig has no apparent supporters, how did he out-raise Jeb Bradley?

FOUR CANDIDATES VS. BRADLEY (none / 0)

To miss half of the field of candidates is just plain silly.Pollsters, pollees and pollers should all come to the forum in Portsmouth Sunday night and see which one of the four candidates is the ONLY one who can beat Jeb Bradley.

This is exciting. I wish we had more local House polls like this.

I just met Paul Hodes at a fundraiser last evening.  He is a great guy and a great candidate.  His chances of winning NH 2 are excellent, particularly since the DCCC has just designated his campaign as one of our top-tier takeover possibilities.  Send him a donation if you can.

This poll is great news for both districts! To have Bradley at less than 50% against any candidate is great, and to have Hodes so close to Bass when he hasn't even gone up on tv yet is excellent.
