Rumor has it that a high level Connecticut staffer with 25 years of experience in Connecticut local and union politics and field organizing is coming on staff to the Lamont campaign. Established Democratic operatives in Connecticut are afraid of Lieberman, and afraid of change. This kind of makes sense, because the existing weakened party structure in CT is still the only party structure in the state. They haven't seen a challenge to this structure in a long time and are afraid of what it might bring. It will only bring life and vibrancy, but they don't know that.
If established operatives are moving away to Lamont, it means that a real debate can finally happen.
