I Am Jerome Armstrong. We're All Jerome Armstrong.

This is the only known photo of Jerome Armstrong (center, in the projector) and his so-called "MyDD contributors" taken at the YearlyKos MyDD caucus.

MyDDers at YearlyKos

From left to right: Matt Stoller's elbow, Chris Bowers, Jonathan Singer, and Jerome Armstrong. Or really just, Jerome Armstrong, Jerome Armstrong, Jerome Armstrong, and Jerome Armstrong.

Re: I Am Jerome Armstrong. We're All Jerome Armst (none / 0)

I looked through my pictures from that session and wouldn't you know it? There's only a picture of Jerome Armstrong.  Obviously, I just knew that he was the only one that mattered and those others were dime-a-dozen actors.

(Actually, I was too interested in what they all had to say to take pictures)

Impossible!  I saw that CNN blog chick (HAWT) posing with Mr. Armstrong on Election night.

Of course, by the look on his face, he was more concerned with the shrimp plate he was holding than the extremely attractive female standing next to him - but hey, there IS another photo of this mysterious Jerome Armstrong character.

I will postpone my plans to swear out an affidavit stating that I have seen Kos, Jerome, and Chris Bowers all in the same room, and they were different people.

Re: You mean.... (none / 0)

The next image in the series appears to link Stoller's elbow to a face.  Of course, it could just be photoshopped.

I mean, who am I to believe?  The media, or my own lying eyes?  Just because I was there in the room, doesn't mean it actually happened.

Haha.  Here is a pretty good one of Stoller, though his elbows are hiding, so I can't definitively match him with the above picture.

Sadly, I have no pictures from the pool.

Not only do Bowers, Stoller and Singer not exist, but I have a footprint molding that proves Jerome is actually Big Foot and has been thought of as such ever since he crashed into Roswell while checking to see how the pyramids he build were holding up.

Re: I Am Jerome Armstrong. We're All Jerome Armst (none / 0)

By the way, Host Emily Rooney just read this statement to close out tonight's episode of Greater Boston:
And finally tonight, we made an error on last Friday's Beat the Press program during a report on bloggers accepting money from political campaigns.  Reporter John Carroll quoted a MyDD posting saying that MyDD founder Jerome Armstrong was the person behind several online pseudonyms.  that posting was meant as satire, and many people have written to tell us that with a little checking, we could have determined that the individual names referred to were actual bloggers.  We should have checked, and we regret not doing so.

Irony (3.00 / 1)

I'm enjoying the irony that one of the blogs to have a policy of main-pagers using their real names is the blog accused of being a bunch of Jerome Armstrong sock-puppets.

For the record, I was in the room when the picture was taken and I can vouch that the picture is accurate and of real people, not cardboard cutouts.

That said, you main-pagers haven't convinced me that you can't merge a la the Constructicons into some Devestator-eque uber-blogger.

Psychic disturbances (none / 0)

We all have cognitive dissonances we must ease.  For a journalism professor, or a talk-show host, who are used to the old ways, just imagine the external threats.  There are all of these new channels, and websites, to keep track of.  How much easier to deal with life if only the new stuff isn't all that.

This is a very good diversionary tactic.  We all know that there really is no "Jerome Armstrong", and this site and all its commenters are all Markos Moulitsas.  Don't be fooled by this liberal krank of a site.  Its all a conspiracy against, against, against...

Hehehe, personal responsibility indeed.
