Google Bomb Update 11/4 (Special Manic Saturday Edition)

What little motion there is has all been positive, and there have really been some excellent ideas thrown out in the past few days to build this into something even bigger next time, so thanks to everyone contributing in that regard.  Since I don't really have anything else to add, I thought it'd be fun to mention some of the storylines that we've been living next to for some of these guys and gals, baked into your full recap on the flip.

You can track the Googlebomb project here, and as always, tell me if you find different results.

--AZ-Sen: Jon Kyl is currently #6

--AZ-01: Rick Renzi wiki is currently #3.  Front page holds two articles on the land deal and the CREW report.

--AZ-05: J.D. Hayworth is currently #5 next to the beyonddelay report.

--CA-04: John Doolittle wiki is currently #2 next to three other anti-Doolittle pages.

--CA-11: Richard Pombo wiki is currently #3 along with five, count them FIVE other negative articles.

--CA-50: Brian Bilbray is currently #4 along with wonkette and a second residency article.

--CO-04: Marilyn Musgrave is currently #4, living with beyonddelay and thinkprogress.

--CO-05: Doug Lamborn is currently #2 and then gets hit by local blogs, soapblox and youtube.

--CO-07: Rick O'Donnell is currently #3

--CT-04: Christopher Shays is currently #5, but story has been archived- dead link

--FL-13: Vernon Buchanan is currently #3 (and #4)

--FL-16: Joe Negron is currently #4, followed by an explanation of how new foley developments will hurt Negron

--FL-22: Clay Shaw is currently #7, sharing the page with five articles about the Clay Shaw who was tried for murdering JFK.

--ID-01: Bill Sali is currently dead again.  Bill Sali is some sort of media myth apparently, just popping up for a few days in a story only to have all record removed as soon as we jump around pointing at it.

--IL-06: Peter Roskam is currently #9, trailing the DCCC and roskam's original, now completely dead, campaign site.

--IL-10: Mark Kirk is currently #92

--IL-14: Dennis Hastert is currently #29 behind at least ten hit pieces from news and blogs.

--IN-02: Chris Chocola is currently #3

--IN-08: John Hostettler is currently #5 not far above hostettler trying to get road names changed.  Substantive guy really. If you think about it.

--IA-01: Mike Whalen is currently #3

--KS-02: Jim Ryun is currently #6 (three time Olympian? jeez.  Do Dems have people like that?)

--KY-03: Anne Northup is currently #5

--KY-04: Geoff Davis is currently #6

--MD-Sen: Michael Steele is currently #3 without articles on any of the kajillion stupid things he's done cracking the top few pages. At least we've got a healthy media.

--MN-01: Gil Gutknecht is currently #3

--MN-06: Michele Bachmann is currently #3, sharing the front page with the Michele Bachmann Fun Page and the Michele Bachmann Baby Farm, thanks to roadkillbill and wonkette respectively.  Who says representatives can't be crazy? Who?

--MO-Sen: Jim Talent is currently #14 (previous article currently #5)

--MT-Sen: Conrad Burns is currently #26 (previous article currently #12) and just gets hammered in local press over and over.  As well he should.

--NV-03: Jon Porter is currently #3.  This one was perfectly timed through dumb luck- we picked up the story the morning it broke and so we've been along for the ride and truth gives you a dime's worth.

--NH-02: Charlie Bass is currently #15, previous story with dead link is #4

--NJ-07: Mike Ferguson is currently #5, nosing out Not Mike for Congress and Why Mike Why.  Feel the national nonpartisan vibe.  Feel it and mail it to the DLC.

--NM-01: Heather Wilson is currently #4

--NY-03: Peter King is currently #32 (up seven pages from yesterday!), and this name is a trip and a half.  SI columnist is first, followed by a former king of Yugoslavia and some architectural ceramics.  After that, tons of volume on Peter Jackson's King Kong and the finest alto saxophonist that Britain has ever produced.  Probably that's all the more reason to get our articles to the top, and especially since peter king refuses to have a website, this shoulda been a gimme but I screwed it up at the beginning.  So it goes.

--NY-20: John Sweeney is currently #5

--NY-26: Tom Reynolds is currently #6

--NY-29: Randy Kuhl wiki is currently #4

--NC-08: Robin Hayes is currently #4

--NC-11: Charles Taylor ...just nothing doing on this front.  Too many Charles Taylors to go around, and none of them seem to have been doing something good when they got publicity.

--OH-01: Steve Chabot is currently #4...the article always stays at the same spot, but these characters keep altering the url.  Well, I'll keep chasing it and updating it here, and all you Chabot watchers will have to keep checking in and/or storm the offices of The Hill.

--OH-02: Jean Schmidt is currently #5 without much else.  Where's the antilove?

--OH-15: Deborah Pryce is currently #3, complete with "The Pryce Is Not Right" ad on the side.  I would personally like to see some love for Happy Gilmore with "The Pryce Is Wrong, Bitch!" but I don't imagine that'd go over as well with the general public as with people who were still enamored of the novelty of drunkenness when that movie came out.  But I digress.

--OH-18: Joy Padgett is currently #3 after dropping off for a while.  Weird...updated url.

--PA-04: Melissa Hart is currently #6

--PA-07: Curt Weldon is currently #5, with his MyDD tag at #7 and his slot on Rolling Stone's list of the 10 worst MofC.  Maybe the Moonies can save him.

--PA-08: Mike Fitzpatrick is currently #5 and has picked up a trailer article that Fitzpatrick couldn't find Pat Murphy's employment records because he looked for them in the wrong place.

--PA-10: Don Sherwood is currently #4, leading the charge along with three other front page articles related to his mistress.

--RI-Sen: Lincoln Chafee is currently #5 with the cowardice article that everyone loves clocking in at #9

--TN-Sen: Bob Corker is currently #149 (previous article requiring registration is currently #3).  If anyone besides me wants to pick this one up and try to save it, it really is a badass article.  Either way, it's a really crazy collection of links for Bob Corker.  My personal favorite being "Bob Corker says Harold Ford jr is too black and sexy" because really, shouldn't that be how we talk politics? Yes it is.  I believe Ted Duplessis is responsible for that headline.

--VA-Sen: George Allen is currently #5 and I tell ya, poor Felix can't catch a break.  Seems like everything is about how he's a complete jackass.  It's a shame really.  Couldn't have happened to a nicer incompetent bigot.

--VA-10: Frank Wolf is currently #4, and it would appear that this is one of approximately 3 articles ever written in a newspaper about Frank Wolf.  So you know, he's got that under the radar thing going for him.

--WA-Sen: Mike McGavick is currently #3, and this is a good one to have gotten up there, because it picks up a trailer article about the DUI and appears to be the only negative info until HorsesAss halfway through the second page.

--WA-08: Dave Reichert is currently #4
