Lamont=Lieberman Race

Ok, I am starting to get a little worried about the Lamont Lieberman race. I asked a bit back what was going on, and why we were losing the momentum, and I was told that it was because we had taken a month off.

But now, a month later, we are losing by even more, with Rasmussen giving Lieberman a 10 point lead and Zogby giving him a 20 point lead. 20 points!!! How can we be losing ground that badly when we have all these commercials on the air?! Please, someone tell me what is going wrong and what the hell is being planned to fix it, because I do NOT want to see that idiot re-elected, especially now that he will probably caucus with the Repugs.

Look at pollster.com

It is actually closer.  Averaging the last ten polls there is a seven point spread.  Averaging the last five there is a five point spread.

What's the story on the latest Zogby poll? Why is it out of line with the other polls?

Zogby regularly comes up with results far different from others.  The results don't seem to be skewed towards one side or the other but simply quite out of line with the consensus.  It is quite different from the systematic error that is seen between other pollsters; e.g., IVR vs. telephone polls.

In other words just enjoy if you like Zogby's results, pay no attention if you don't.

Zogby (none / 0)

I am not going to celebrate when Zogby shows Jack Carter up 7 (it does). Nor will I panic when it shows Lieberman up 20.
