That `splains everything Lucy.  Robinson spreads his vitriol thickest on the internet to rustle up money from outside NC to run his insipid ads inside NC.  I've seen a fireside-chat style video Robinson is running on TV in District 13 which I haven't seen on the internet.  At first I thought I was watching a SNL skit with Tracy Morgan but he managed to make it identifiable as Robinson garbage with tasteless video of the second plane hitting the burning World Trade Center.  If memory serves me correctly Republicans were in charge on that watch.

Meanwhile Robinson's recent sex obsession ad has been pulled from YouTube due to copyright infringement though it is still accessible at Google Video, which is surprising given that Google has just dropped $1.65 billion on YouTube.  Go find it and rate it as pornographic and see it drop off the face of the net.

MediaMatters rips into Fox News for repeatedly showcasing offensive Republican ads and candidates with practically no Democratic or progressive responses and dissects Robinson's ad in particular.

Fox News programs in recent weeks have aired false and misleading Republican campaign advertisements attacking Democrats or Democratic congressional candidates and have hosted guests to defend the attacks, smears, and falsehoods put forth in the ads. But in all but one of the segments about the ads, Fox News failed to air a counter-ad by a Democratic candidate or host any progressive or Democrat to respond to the smears in the advertisements; the other aired only part of a Democratic ad and did so without sound.

Meanwhile the absurdity and obscenity has been picked up by British newspapers such as the Independent

There is a tendency in all US election campaigns to talk about sexual morality rather than weighty matters of state. But this yearseems to mark a new low.
Nowhere has the tone gone lower than in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where a Republican candidate called Vernon Robinson has accused his opponent, incumbent congressman Brad Miller, of wanting to import homosexuals to the United States and spending tax-payer dollars on filthy scientific studies on sex.

All this opprobrium stemmed from a single vote by Mr Miller on appropriations for the National Institutes of Health. In a campaign mailer, the unabashedly homophobic Mr Robinson even sought to drop hints questioning his adversary's sexuality, referring to him pointedly as "childless". Mr Miller has since pointed out that the reason he is childless is that his wife had a hysterectomy 20 years ago.

Note to editor: Winston-Salem is not in District 13.

Runner-up in the furthest travelled money to Robinson sweepstakes is a contractor in Hawaii who said aloha to $1,000 that she'll never see again.  May be hoping for a piece of that border wall contract but they way things are going with the economy the wall will have to be built by Mexicans so it'll be kind of hard to keep them on one side.  Maybe she'll get that Great Wall of Hawaii project to keep those inner tubes from drifting over fron Baja.  Does the name Maginot mean anything any more?  Robinson is running a campaign that is failing for Minuteman Randy Graf in Arizona of whom Tom Tancredo, another Robinson donor, has said:

"I don't just want to work with Randy. I want to someday pass the baton to him."

If the people of Arizona and the NRCC have figured out this junk won't fly it's past time for Robinson to pack it in. Click on the hula girl to send a sweet goodbye to Vernon.

Following up on our other Pacific Rim Where in the World are Vernon Robinson's Donors the recent FEC report shows he managed to scare another donation out of Alaska retiree George Benesch and one from the Santee, California trailer park retiree, fighting us here in District 13 so they don't have to fight them there.  We already have a functioning capable Democratic Congressman: Brad Miller we don't need a guy like Robinson serving on Congressional committees who had this to say about his poor attendance record on the Winston-Salem City Council:

"If you had to sit through those committee meetings where they read the agenda to the council members who didn't read the agenda book before the meeting, you'd probably blow your brains out,"

 Robinson is so out of touch he attacked the Episcopal Church of which recent WRAL debate moderator David Crabtree is a deacon.  Vernon Robinson is an unprofessional fundraiser.  Brad Miller is a professional Congressman for NC-13.
