The activist group, Expose Sweeney, has launched a new website, "The Real John Sweeney" at http://www.therealjohnsweeney.com in order to better expose Representative Sweeney's poor voting record, as well as his corruption and scandals to the voting population here in New York's 20th Congressional District.
The website extensively covers Sweeney's abysmal track record on four major issues of importance to New York 20th Congressional District voters:
Social Security
Gas Prices
The Environment
Outsourcing/Trade
Besides this, the website also places a strong focus on Congressman Sweeney's long record of corruption and scandals, including information about Sweeney's ties to Jack Abramoff and his ongoing support of the sweatshop operations in the North Marianas Islands.
Between the new website and the 20TrueBlue blog, progressive activists in New York's 20th District are hard at work in cyberspace right now, trying to replace a corrupt, right wing congressman and member of the Abramoff gang with an attractive, well-funded progressive Democrat.
