Happy Birthday to Chris

It's Chris's birthday today.  He's six years old.

Ok, he's not six.  But it's his birthday.

I figured I'd look up your horoscope to see what it might portend for the MyDD community...

2006 is a Number Five year for you. Ruled by Mercury. This is a year of exploration and freedom. It's a time when exploration and reaching out to others brings opportunities. It's a good time to advertise and sell. Surprises are in store, and the routine is broken. This is a year when exciting relationships can be formed, or, if you are already in a partnership, new life is breathed into the relationship. Advice - explore, look for adventure, keep your eyes open for opportunities, mingle.

What the crap is any of that supposed to mean? Advising you to "mingle?" That's a horoscope? Oh well.

Happy Birthday, Chris!

Here's my favorite part of the horoscope:

It's a good time to advertise and sell.

We're all going to be rich on MyDD!

Re: Happy Birthday (none / 0)

Actually, I know someone sho does horoscopes professionally for a living.  She's a vehemently strong Democrat and said most astrologers are Democrats, FWIW.

The most interesting tidbits:  Nancy Reagan insisted on getting a Republican astrologer.  She had a lot of trouble finding one.

Second, she was not real specific but she sees Bush's reign as ending weakly for him.

Happy Birthday (none / 0)

According to the New York Post, If your birthday is today then "take life as it comes and don't spend too much time worrying about your work or career."  But they are a right-wing rag, so Chris, you should probably do exactly the opposite.

You also share the same birthday as Edouard Manet, French impressionist who uttered the famous quote "I won't change a thing in his portrait.  Is it my fault if Moore looks like a squashed egg yolk and if his face is all lopsided?"

He might also have been referring to a famous Senator, whose portrait he painted.
