I had no idea what I said, or that I was hip enough to say it. I also am not hip enough to know what the in the hizzle that was. It looks like some kind of fark page. Do they have a homepage so I can get up to speed?

I tried to google hizzle. No help. So I went to Gizoogle and received some enlightenment. Then, out of curiosity I tried to Gizoogle "Diamond-Orszag Alternative" because I knew I could find one of my old diaries that way on google.

This is what found. That's an honest to god search engine that also translates English into hizzle?

Somebody help poor JollyBuddah out here. I am so retro I may be hep for the first time in my life.

OK, I found this link that starts to explain gizoogle and hizzle. I guess that's what I get for not being a big fan of rap. This is bigger than rap though. Where can I find more details?

I'm afraid there's not much more to say . . . and it's not much bigger than rap. It started ca. 1992 w/ Snoop's appearance on Dr. Dre's the Chronic. Basically, he just inserts "izz" in the middle of words, and "izzle" at the end. So instead of saying "Death Row records is in full mother-fu*ing effect" he says "Death Row records is in full mother-fu*ing effizzect." Its also why his show is "doggy brizzle televizzle" and on that AOL commercial he shows up going "Just one minizzle." For sure is "fo shizzle." House can be "Hizz-ouse," "hizzle" or "heezy."

More recently (though not that recently) it gained more prominence with Jay-Z's "H to the izz-O, V to the izz-A" song, which, translated, was his way of proclaiming himself Jehova (think "J"ay "H" to the izz-"O" "V" to the izz-"A").

And just so you know, "my nizzle" translates to the n-bomb. Key to know before repeating.

It's pretty difficult for one to really understand without knowing snoop's works. Using the example in the link you cite, all the following I recognize as being taken from various snoop raps (and surely many others), and have specific meaning in a rap context:

niggaz, better recognize
bootylicious
fo' sheezy (more eminem, but still)
straight trippin'
Yippie yo, you can't see my flow.
