Partisan Conspiracy Against DeLay Widens

The partisan conspiracy against DeLay widens to now include the judge on the case:
A judge dismissed a conspiracy charge Monday against Rep. Tom DeLay but refused to throw out the far more serious allegations of money-laundering, dashing the congressman's hopes for now of reclaiming his post as House majority leader.
In fact, the conpriacy is so wide, it now includes the voters of his own district:
CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll. 803 Adults (713 Registered Voters). December 1-4, 2005. MoE +/- 4%

If Tom DeLay runs for re-election in 2006, in general, are you more likely to vote for the Republican candidate Tom DeLay or for the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress?

It is amazing that a man who led the non-partisan, even-handed charge to impeach a President for having sex would now find himself the victim of such a wide ranging partisan conspriacy. Truly, there is no justice in the world.

The 2006 decapitation strategy starts with supporting Nick Lampson, who is challenging DeLay in TX-22.

Of course, if the Dems dont field a full slate in TX you're advocating that we don't support Lampson.

So which is it? do we support Lampson? or do we wait and see if the TX Dems get their act together?

So are you or are you not supporting candidates in states where the DCCC is not contesting every congressional race?

Regardless, I think the chance to oust DeLay is too good to pass up, and if you do go through with your plan, you ought to make an exception for Lampson.

Not untill we get certain losing candidates in Districts were Democrats have no chance of winning.
I actually am fine with supporting Lampson now.

It seems that a lot of people are mocking you because of your call to not support any candidates that were in a state without challengers for everyone. I see your point there (Not to take the Netroots for granted) but c'mon lol, it's funny how it backfired on you like this.

DeLay 2006 = Foley 1994

DeLay will be the icing on the cake.

We'll see how many seats the Democrats will be able to take once all the retirements are in.
