Does anyone from the district know how strong Meier really is?

These upstate NY districts are the flipside of some yellow dog Democratic regions in the south.  The Republicans were so dominant upstate for so long that the Democrats don't have much of an infrastructure, though the area is starting to slip its partisan moorings.
