Has anybody thought about getting the clients of the Fund, such as the Sierra Club, Human Rights Campaign, etc. to pressure the Fund to change? Given the state of labor law in this country, that is the only way to get them to behave differently.
I agree completely- these "progressive" firms are not going to change on their own, and there is no way we can go through the channels provided by this nation's horrendous union laws. The only way to change GCI/the Fund/any other parasitic "field operations" outfit is to strangle them of their source of power- i.e. money.
The real problem with this is that, like any good cult or secret society, the Fund has placed "true believers" in many, if not most, of the major organizations. It will be hard to bring down this cartel, but the only way to do so is to hit them where it hurts- in the pocketbook.
