A frequent response to these comments is that the people making them are "wimps" and won't do the "hard work" or "eat dirt" and just aren't "scrappy" enough.

Personally, I think that unionized workplaces are more productive and efficient, that unionization is a good thing, and that every worker should have the right to join a union.  

Responding directly to the post, I'd really, really like to see some of the numbers to back up the assertion that people's lists became unusable after the union vote.  That seems nasty.  I'd also like to know a bit more about the pattern of list usage.  I mean, if you change your lists in and out, some are gonna be better then others.  I'd like to know how badly this variation was compared to others.  (The NOLA calling seems... well... stupid, but considering the way a beuaracry works, might not be malicious).
